We used SEA for a recent remodel project that included a complete master bath remodel and an exterior remodel including windows, roof, garage door and full new look for the house. We were really impressed with the team who worked on the house, including suggestions they made, attention to detail and quality of work and overall responsiveness along the way. Edgar, our on-site project manager is just terrific. He and his team were always prompt in addressing any of our requests and were always very respectful to our family in the process (we occupied the house during the remodel). At all times we knew what was in the scope of the project and when we requested changes to various items through the process were always clear on any increased cost/ change requests. If we have projects in the future, we will use SEA Contruction again.

We can't say enough about our positive experience with SEA Construction! We hired SEA in early 2014 for a major remodeling project which included the kitchen, dining room, living room, refinishing all of the hardwood floors throughout the house, and interior painting. We worked closely with Steve Albert for nearly one year to finalize our plans and once we started in late January 2014, we were very fortunate as Steve became our project manager. The entire team was very professional and we were very impressed at their craftsmanship and attention to detail. While we ran into some potential project delays, they were well-handled and the team worked diligently to come in on-time and on-budget. There were no surprises - their billing was extremely detailed and any potential changes were discussed in advance. The project started in late January and was completed by May 1st, lasting approximately 12 weeks which was impressive for a project of this size. This was our first remodeling project and we had heard about many bad experiences that our friends had with their contractors - but this was NOT the case for us with SEA. One of the areas were were most impressed with was how professional and respectful the SEA team was - every night before leaving they would clean up, put away their tools and leave things very tidy, even though they were coming back the next day. We have worked with other contractors in the past, but the SEA team is the most professional group we have ever worked with. We are thrilled with the results and the work is definitely the highest quality. We would strongly recommend SEA and we will certainly use them for any future projects - they definitely exceeded our expectations!

Steve of SEA came over my house twice to go over ideas about remodeling my house and gave us as good a realistic cost as possible.

We have used S.E.A. Construction to complete five major home remodel projects over the past twelve years. They are professional, respectful and personal in their approach. They have managed our costs as well as possible. Our various project costs have ranged $300,000 to $950,000. Their craftsmanship is high quality and the sub contractors used are courtesy and clean up after themselves each day. S.E.A. has had to collaborate with interior designers and architects with various projects. Since we began our relationship with S.E.A. we have not interviewed another contractor.

We have used SEA Construction three times. This last time involved a major renovation and addition which touched every room in the house! We used the entire design-build team although many of the design elements we chose ourselves. The project was completed within one week of the original schedule and is a masterpiece! We are thrilled with Steve and the team, and in fact considered no other firm for this job. They have a terrific list of subs and deliver on every promise! In several instances over our experiences with SEA, they got creative to assist us with a good solution when we ran into a snag. This job was no exception. They worked with the engineer to arrive at a creative solution which was much less expensive than the original idea suggested. These guys are pros! AND they are a delight to work with. We would absolutely hire them again!

As an architect, I worked with SEA Construction Inc, headed by Steve Albert, on two residential projects, a 4000 sf high end residential renovation project in Hillsborough, CA and a small loft renovation project in San Francisco (in South Beach near the Giants Stadium). On both projects, SEA Construction and their sub contractors did outstanding construction and finish work paying close attention to the construction drawing. Better yet, Steve and his staff were very professional, courteous, and honest making both projects a joy to work on. They did what they were supposed to do. I recommended Steve and his Company to other colleagues and friends which is "high praise" for any contractor. I have never worked with a construction company that works harder to deliver the most cost-effective, elegant solutions for their customers. They are consistently on time, within budget, and seasoned professionals. The experience, construction knowledge, enthusiasm, and team approach that Steve and his staff bring to a project are far above industry standards. S.E.A.'s hands-on participation, from conceptual design through completed construction have consistently resulted in succesfully completed, beautifully executed projects, and a long list of very happy clients. Steve Albert is the quintessential professional. He stands by the workmanship of his company beyond any other service or product organization I have dealt with in the past. He listens to his clients, provides creative solution ideas, and uses only high quality materials and sub-contractors. SEA Construction rebuilt our house from the foundation up, so there were plenty of opportunities for things to go well and not so well. Whenever we had a concern, Steve would respond immediately, really listen to our concerns, and take responsibilty for addressing issues quickly. I have recommended SEA to many friends without hesitation and they have been equally satisfied. They may not be the cheapest contractor, but you certainly get more than your money's worth!
