Sandra has done 2 homes for us now, and she is great to work with. We love her dearly and even invited her to our wedding. It's a huge plus that she can also do some light contractor work, and has a great network of professionals she's worked with for decades: woodworkers, finishers, stone workers, etc etc. The work she has done for us has been terrific, and she has an amazing eye for design. Sandra has a way of getting inside your head to help you sort out and discover what your design tastes and fantasies are, even when you don’t know them yourself yet. Then she manifests them in an extraordinary, yet practical, way. Plus, despite all the hassles that can come with remodeling or construction, Sandra will make sure that you stay on budget, laugh, and have fun during the process. Her heart is as big as her talent. I had Sandra Costa design and furnish my home over twenty years ago. She created a beautiful interior that was comfortable and fun to live in, with unique touches and surprises throughout. I loved every piece that she chose for me. She took me with her on some of her shopping trips and also found eclectic design items on her own to run by me, including a kitchen island that was an antique butcher block from an old meat factory. The house became an incredible showplace, all done on a reasonable budget, with an end result that far surpassed our dreams. In 2019 I purchased another property and after many years called Sandra to once again create the plans and remodel. I am excited to see what the end result will be. Sandra has shown an amazing intuition for knowing exactly what I like and how to create it within my budget. From reading the other reviews here, it looks like she has done that for many other clients, in a variety of budgets and design styles. I have no doubt that she will do the same for you too. Sandra Costa is a real genius of design. My fiancee and I bought a 4600 sq/ft Hollywood Hills home that we had exactly 6 weeks to modify, upgrade and completely furnish and decorate from scratch. We were told by others it would be impossible. On top of that we have varied tastes - including pop culture influences, Japanese inspired design, and warm masculine and bold preferences. Sandra used a simple but unique approach of interviewing us based around our likes and personalities. Her ability to "get inside our head" and help us articulate our vision better than we could, opened up a world of possibilities for us to work and choose from. From there she worked with us extremely fast and effectively side by side showing us exciting option after option, allowing us to quickly choose our favorite choices and design direction. Because of her years of experience, Sandra had access to loyal and very high quality furniture makers, painters, wall paper specialists, and fireplace design, bathroom design and counter top design specialists. She summoned them all. Six weeks later, we moved into our newly purchased home, completely redone and enhanced. In the last 10 months since moving in we have gotten complement after complement after praise. Our house is truly unique to our tastes, while remaining interesting, fun, warm and inviting to our family and varied friends who visit. I am convinced Sandra is the only person in Los Angeles who could have accomplished our task in the time required. And possibly the only person in LA who could have accomplished our task at all.

I have worked with Sandra side by side for over 25 years. I started out as her design artist specialist creating some of the finest back drops in the word for her. Fast forward 20 years later we have teamed up as partners on several occasions dominating whole design jobs inside and out. She's a fabulous teacher, friend, designer, mother and has more integrity than most people I know. I've learned more from her in the design world than any degree could have possibly offer.

Sandra Costa is a wonderful decorator. I love the way she decorated my home. She listened to me if I did not like what she suggested. Very kind, thoughtful and had wonderful ideas for my home.
