Showcase Kitchen did an over the top job on our recent kitchen remodel. I can't say enough great things about every single person involved in the process. Michael Hartstein our designer took the right amount of time to design the perfect fit for our small space. He helped guide us through all the details to make sure it would be perfect. The project manager, Steve Love, was superb in every way. He has a way with attention to every little detail and made sure we were completely happy. And he finished the job 3 weeks early! A special call out to all the subs: electrician George, plumber Mike, drywaller Joe, demolition Carmelo and Jose, tile Eduardo, countertops Javier, painting Chendo, stucco Sean, and cabinetry Nigel, Steve, Harry and Andy. Complete Kitchen, Bathroom, Fireplace, Living room and Bedroom remodel. Including wall removal, beam additions, electrical rewiring, re-plumping, new interior doors and many other miscellaneous items. Our experience from beginning to end was professional, honest and very detailed. Our designer, Katie Carrol, listened to the few small details wanted and came up with the entire beautiful layout and design. We love everything about the finished result! Showcase Kitchen and Baths did an amazing job with our remodel. We started off remodeling just our kitchen and powder room, and because my superintendent, Jeff and designer, Lois were so amazing and easy to work with we ended up remodeling all 4 bathrooms, Laundry room and painting the whole house. I love, love my new kitchen! Its sleek, Modern and totally functional. My master bath is a heavenly spa. The house looks incredible. They truly are amazing people. They cared about all of us, making sure that we were happy and comfortable at all times. Jeff was very clear in describing the scope of work, was very honest, responsive and ethical. Together with his team, they had great ideas and gave me a beautiful home beyond what I imagined it could be. I can not say enough good things about everyone that worked on their team, they are absolutely incredible. It was a pleasure working with them.

We have very high regard and praise for Showcase. We have been repeat customers through 4 separate remodeling and expansion projects on our residence going back to 1995. Projects have included kitchen 1995, expansion and remodel of bedroom/bathroom spaces 1999, master bath remodel 2009, and full kitchen do-over in 2016. Designer Charlie Rutledge has been our point person on every job. He's been a pivotal player and the leader on every successful project. Personable, professional, always responsive. A pleasure to work with. Home remodeling is never easy or without surprises and adjustments, nor will any general contractor be completely flawless. But with Showcase we have always had the following: 1. Fair, comprehensive, full disclosure estimates, and final contract numbers. May take a bit of time to fully understand every element, but that is because Showcase ensures there are no hidden costs, forgotten fees, other elements of your budget that we have had dropped by other contractors (e.g. outdoor masonry, painters). Showcase may not be the lowest (but competitive with other high quality general contractors), but also never ends up with surprises, forgotten elements, or other financial "oops" that blow your budget. 2. Exceptional patience and an open mind in terms of design inputs, details and decisions. Working with Showcase is a true collaboration. They know kitchens and bathrooms inside and out, and have given us several great ideas we'd never thought of. And they have also been completely open to our inputs when we've seen a detail or tweak that was unique to our tastes or wants. 3. Detailed contracts, specifications, plans and drawings. And all the patience one could ask for in making sure both sides are in full agreement on the work to be done. 4. With one or two minor exceptions (all of which were promptly remedied), top notch trades, often master craftsman level work, and by workers you feel totally comfortable having in your home. 5. A dedicated job supervisor (Steve Love has supervised all 4 of our projects). Not needed full time onsite but always available whenever needed. Immediate response to questions, immediate follow up when issues arise, and a very firm hand on all his trades. With Steve Love at the helm there has never any doubt that the job is in very capable and demanding hands. 6. Well planned and very well paced work schedules. Work progress that meets and often betters the schedule. We've never ended up with a partially done project that stalled. No "my truck broke down, the dog ate the plans" or other lame excuses for not showing up. 7. Within what is practical when up to half your living space is being worked on, full respect for and accommodation of our home, living space, needs, and daily routines. And dog friendly, even when we had a 4 dog household during two of the jobs. And full attention to and respect for our dog access restrictions, even if it sometimes meant they had to access the site or store materials in places not the most convenient for them. 8. Very prompt resolution of any punch list, warranty or similar rework need. Their handling of a particular warranty issue on our most recent kitchen project was simply outstanding, and a model of how responsible businesses should work to resolve such an issue. 9. A finished result we absolutely LOVE!! What else can you ask for?

We had the good fortune of meeting Michael Hartstein at Showcase Kitchens and Baths. He designed our new kitchen and did an amazing job. He is very experienced and knowledgeable, and is an artist as well. He listened carefully to what we were looking for and came up with plans that fit our goals and desires for our new kitchen. He was very thorough with attention to detail and even took us to a granite showroom over 50 miles away to help us find just the right granite for our kitchen. The construction crew affiliated with Showcase was top notch as well. They delivered what they promised and always showed up on time. We've been living our new kitchen every day and would highly recommend Michael Hartstein and Showcase Kitchens and Baths.

My husband and I hired Showcase to remodel our Kitchen and Bathroom. Anat was informative and helpful during the Design process. The quality of the cabinets is top notch and we are very pleased with the final design project. Steve, the project manger was very communicative and gave us a printed timeline with regards to each step of the process. If issues came up during the Renovation, they were handled in a timely manner and resolved. The project was finished on the date that they proposed. We are now enjoying our kitchen and bath and are very pleased with the design and work Showcase provided for us.

It's never easy to remodel any part of your house - and the kitchen has got to be the hardest - but Showcase did everything they could to make it easy. And give us an amazing renovation! There are a lot contractors and companies to renovate homes - but I think Showcase is unique in what they do. They're a lot bigger & have a lot more to offer than an individual contractor but they still have a small business and family feel that the bigger renovation companies can't offer. We met with a lot of different people to find the company we wanted to work with and there were two kinds of contractors. There were the guys we felt were going to cut corners or didn't have the resources to do the work right. And on the other end of the spectrum there were the companies that looked at us and our home as just another job and weren't going to give us and the renovation the attention we wanted. Showcase fits right in the middle of all this and bridges that gap. When you meet with them you'll still feel that you have that one-on-one customer service feel, but they have a whole team of people working to complete your project. And they have so many resources for you to work with. An individual contractor is always going to refer you to his one buddy and a big company is just going to refer you to the vendor that gives them the biggest discount. But for all the elements that you want to pick out (and all the owner-provided portions of the renovation), Showcase can give you different vendors to call and work with. And they're all pretty amazing themselves - smaller unique vendors that offer the same individual customer service. But after the individual attention, we still got what we wanted from working with a company rather than an individual: a complete team of people working to finish our renovation. Ernesto was our designer and he was great to work with - he had so many ideas on what we could do with our space and included all the little touches in the kitchen that we wanted and some that we didn’t even expect. Everything was laid out in a contract that was easy to work with - it took away all the ambiguity of what was expected from both sides - something that was very important to us. And then once the renovation started we worked with their project manager Jeff. He has the toughest job working with the clients in their home and all the sub-contractors - and he’s normally the guy with the bad news when you run into the unexpected. And trust me - you will. There’s always something that comes up that no one could have anticipated - for us it was some foundation work and electrical and plumbing issues. But Jeff was great to work with and he made sure everything was right. Renovating your house is so different from any other customer service experience you'll have - it's not like buying a product or a service like house cleaning. To rate & review a remodeling company takes so many factors into consideration. I think the best way to rate them is to simply ask yourself if you'd use them again? It takes everything into consideration: the customer service, how did they deal with the unexpected and address the problems, and did you get what you wanted? For us the answer is absolutely - the customer service was great and individual to us, we worked through the issues & they made things right, and our kitchen is beautiful.

My very first remodel, ever, and I am so thankful we used Showcase, especially since I had no idea where to begin. We did a very extensive, (and beautiful!) master bath remodel which went remarkably smoothly. Charlie was fantastic in the planning stages, and Steve was terrific during the execution phase. The quality of the work is outstanding, any problems were addressed immediately, and I was always well informed. Considering this was all new to me, they made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Showcase and would hire them again in heartbeat!

We are so pleased with our kitchen remodel! Michael Hartstein was amazing in every way. He is a very knowledgeable and talented kitchen designer. He is extremely patient and really listens to your concerns, questions and ideas. After completing our job with him, we feel like he is family now! All of the subs who worked on the job were professional and went above and beyond to complete their tasks within the time frame given to us. We would definitely use Michael again! Everyone who sees our kitchen is blown away!

Best decision we made was to hire Showcase Kitchens and Baths for remodel of our kitchen. Charlie designed the remodel and Steve organized and supervised the sub-contractors, and everything went like clockwork. They are quality professionals and everyone they brought in to work on the carpentry, tile, granite, painting, etc., were of the highest quality. They exceeded our expectations and we always knew what to expect, as they always kept us informed. Our kitchen is gorgeous!

Complete Kitchen Remodel Followed 5 years later by complete remodel of 3 bathrooms. We wanted Michael to design the bathrooms due to the great job he did on the kitchen Michael created great designs for all of the work. He is a pleasure to work with and was involved all of the way through both jobs.

I worked with Ernesto Sepulveda on a remodel in Encino and he showed attention to even the smallest details. His professionalism and work ethic is of the highest standard. He takes personal interest in his clients and really cares about delivering an exceptional product and experience!
