Solaire helped us buy the lot we wanted and then built our custom home. We are beyond pleased. We chose Solaire based on viewing previous homes thy had built as well as their reputation and their focus on sustainability. We were living out of state during the construction so we put a lot of trust in them to keep us informed and involved; which they did. They hired reliable subcontractors (which we are meeting now as they finish punch list items) and kept the project on time. We now have a Earth Advantage certified, net zero home with 12" exterior walls. It is incredibly comfortable. Even with the mini splits turned off, the inside tempurature barely wavers as the outside tempurature varies more than 40 degrees from day to night. The design and finishes are beautiful. Although this is our first custom home, it is the tenth house we have owned in 35 years. We plan to stay here a very long time.

My husband and I discovered SolAire Homebuilders while researching Bend and Northwest Crossing in particular. The prospect of building a net zero house appealed to us both in terms of quality and sustainability. Although we have yet to move in, our home is finished and the process though long (our choice) has been relatively easy even though the majority was done via email and phone calls. Trust in SolAire and a good working relationship made it possible to build from afar. Mike and Cindi (and other staff) have been great to work with and we feel that they were watching out for our interests and that their values and aesthetics were similar to ours. Cindi was there from day one (land search) and we appreciate all she has done and can’t wait to move into our beautiful award winning custom net zero home. We both highly recommend SolAire Homebuilders. We have now lived in the house for six months and we love it. Our expections were definitely met in terms of quality of the construction and the responsiveness of SolAire. They truly cared that we got the house of our dreams - a beautiful net zero house.

We've been in our new (award-winning!) SolAire home now for 2 months and we love it. We looked at a LOT of homes in Bend, and the quality of the SolAire construction and finishes was just flat out better than everything else we saw. Our new home is certified both Earth Advantage Platinum and Net-Zero Ready (we're working on adding Solar in the coming months), so we feel good about buying an eco-friendly, efficient home. You might think there is some sort of sacrifice or trade-off when buying green, but this is not the case with SolAire - it's all top-notch. Thank you Cindi & Mike!
