Jerry was excellent to work with - knowledgable, communicative, professional, flexible and hard working. The team cleaned up after themselves every evening, came when they said they would come, and most importantly, did a wonderful job of rebuilding out stone retaining wall. We liked the work so much that we added on the project of replacing our very ugly concrete walkways with beautiful new pavers that make a huge difference in our small backyard.

After multiple contractors gave us proposals for our driveway and stone retaining walls, none of which matched our vision, we found Jerry. He was the first person we spoke to who understood what we wanted aesthetically, and then followed through in making it happen. He and his crew went above and beyond. They utilized all of our excavated stone, and redistributed soil on site, rather than carting everything away—a sustainability goal of our project. We are thrilled with the final transformation—as are our neighbors who were looking at an eyesore for some time while we searched for the right company. We were originally planning to pave the driveway with asphalt, but switched to pavers after seeing the quality of Jerry’s work. His prices are fair. It ended up costing more than we originally planned, but only because of our own upgrades. There were no unexpected costs, and in fact we were not charged for a few things that turned out to be additional work. Jerry has been an excellent communicator, and has met our every expectation. We hope to have him back to do other work in the future.

I was very impressed by this organization. The quote was the lowest of several obtained. The work was done quickly and skillfully despite being technically challenging. The staff were flexible with us at the last minute about obtaining materials for our walkway that we felt best about. The final product was beautiful. Our highest recommendation.

Jerry and his team are truly amazing. They are extremely hard working. They arrived every day at about 7AM and and worked until after 4PM. Jerry is on the job site at all times, and they do one job at a time to ensure a fast project completion. It was obvious throughout that Jerry’s main goal is customer satisfaction. He wants to make it work exactly right for you. He takes a lot of time to design solutions that work best and is very creative. They also do very high quality work. For example, the foundation under our patio far exceeded standards and what other contractors do. The goal is a product that will last a long time. They even go beyond what is in the proposal to make sure that the finished product is amazing. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

We hired StoneWall Landscapes to put in a front walk, side walk, and a patio with seating wall. They did an amazing job - we are very pleased! They were timely, reasonably priced, and knowledgeable. We ended up adding to our contract so that they could add some landscaping around the patio and the look has exceeded our expectations. I would hire them again in a heart beat!

The short version is that Jerry is very knowledgeable, honest and candid, and attentive to customer service. He doesn't try to over-engineer solutions or over-charge for his services. He knows his craft, as well as what it takes to grow a business through satisfied customers. I would recommend him for any landscaping work. The long story is that I had an issue with water in the basement and met with several companies, each of which gave me a different assessment of what was the likely cause and fix. Jerry inspected both the inside and outside, and told me what he thought was going on, what my options were, and what the likelihood was that each solution would solve the water issue. He was very candid in telling me that a landscaping approach would not likely solve the problem, but I decided to take a phased approach beginning with landscaping because the downspouts were not directing the water away from the foundation. Jerry's bid was the lowest I received, partly because he didn't try to over-engineer or oversell the project. After I awarded the project, Jerry and his crew came out the very next week. He checked in the next day to see how the basement had fared after a heavy downpour (it was dry!) and whether the heavy rains had caused the dirt and grass seed to migrate. When I said it seemed like grass seed was no longer uniformly scattered over the dirt, his crew came back the next day to re-rake and re-seed the grass.

We've had a wonderful experience with Jerry and his team at StoneWall Landscapes. Jerry guided us through an overhaul of our backyard that consisted of the installation of new patio pavers and stone veneer seating wall, as well as landscape lighting, plantings, and sod. From the initial site visit to project completion, we received stellar service that reflected the company's multifaceted expertise. We are now thoroughly enjoying our new backyard!

Jerry and his wonderful team were a pleasure to work with, and I highly suggest working with them on your next landscaping project. Stonewall was tasked with building a new patio for me due to the condition it was in and pitch sloping towards my house. I worked with he and his team to determine an optimal solution, pick out and install new pavers and a new fence around the perimeter, build a retaining wall to match the pavers to hold the area outside of my patio together, and coordinating with my plumber to build and install a gas fire pit. The end product turned out beautifully and my wife and I look forward to spending this winter huddled around our fire pit- Thanks Stonewall!

We contracted StoneWall to install a patio area, but also solve for some unique drainage issues on our property. The estimate was clear, Jerry took the time to explain everything in detail and work with us on any changes, and the work was completed in the timeframe he'd outlined. His crew was detail-oriented, treated the yard and property with care, and really took time to make sure everything was perfect. Highly recommended!

The StoneWall Landscapes team did a phenomenal job remodeling our backyard. They presented a vision of a brand-new and much "better looking" backyard and made that vision a reality for us! They were extremely professional since day 1 and walked us through the process, presenting a design, a plan, and a timeline for completion with an extremely affordable price. The team were superb, reliable, always on time, and kept everything clean and organized by the end of each day. I have done other types of work in our home and have never received that level of service before. They were really exceptional. I am a very detail-oriented person and they truly impressed me. They took care of each detail and delivered a totally new and beautiful backyard that was beyond our expectations. They added a retaining and stone seating wall, created two separate spaces (the adult and the kids area), and planted a few trees and hydrangeas. The truth is, we had no idea our backyard had the potential to look what it looks today after the work done by StoneWall Landscapes. We are extremely happy with our new backyard and are thankful for the StoneWall Landscapes team!

Jerry and team are amazing. When looking for a contractor to do work like this, you look for quality, price, on schedule, and great communication. Stonewall hit all of those. They redid our front lawn, put in a new walkway, and installed an irrigation system in just about 5 days of work. It looks beautiful. Jerry was amazing with his communication, telling us exactly when he was going to be there with his team, when elements of the work would be done, and helping us with the choices we had to make. Amazing work. We'll use them again to do our backyard and patio next year, and would recommend them to anyone!
