Streamline Development

I find it necessary to share my deeply disappointing experience with Streamline Development. Paul was even a friend. The lack of transparency and unjustified overcharging I experienced raises serious concerns about how they might treat regular customers. Despite my repeated requests for detailed breakdowns of costs, they failed to provide any clarity, leaving me skeptical about the fairness of their charges. To validate my concerns, I sought the opinion of another contractor who confirmed the excessive pricing without any reasonable explanation. It is disheartening to witness such behavior from someone I considered a friend, and I advise potential customers to exercise caution and seek transparency when considering this contractor for their projects.

We watched Paul and the Streamline Development team put their heart and soul into building our new custom home, and after 10+ years of living in it and raising our family, we’re loving it as much as the day we moved in. It’s a truly beautiful green, sustainable, healthy and durable home. Great job!

Paul is one of the best custom home builders in San Diego. Paul and his team at Streamline were selected after meeting with several groups to build out and help design our entire hardscape and landscape of our new home. I highly recommend Streamline Development. They are currently completing a very large construction job for us and we couldn't be happier. They are professional, courteous and very easy to work with. Their subcontractors are exceptional. Excellent quality and attention to detail on all matters and if something is not right, it is corrected immediately. Paul and his team did a phenomenal job on my property. We asked them to come in and help us remove an interior staircase, create more usable space on each of the two floors, reposition the front door from a mid-level access point to the first floor and then to do our entire landscaping including removal of hardscaping, installation of different/better hardscaping with stone elements, two waterfall features, a pool, tons of grass, trees, bushes and much more. Paul was always accessible and very easy to talk to and throughout I trusted in him (proactive and responsive when issues arose, on top of crew, schedule, etc.) His direct crew (John & Eric) did a fantastic job on both the interior work (removing the staircase) as well as exterior (building a large cedar fence with multiple gates, bbq island, etc.) They all were extremely friendly and helpful and easy to work with. Paul used some folks to run part of the job for him including electricians, plumbers, the majority of the landscaping work and the pool. Paul was my main point of contact and worked with all of the other sub-contractors to make sure that things were done on time and to my satisfaction. We absolutely love the work that Paul and his team in helping us visualize and create out dream home - and now we're ready to enjoy it!

We have had the opportunity to work with Paul and his team at Streamline Development on a number of projects by providing either hardwood flooring or carpet. We are always happy to work with great professionals on our jobs and these guys really know what they are doing. They seem to attract the best clients looking for contractors who pay attention to detail and design and it sure shows in their finished homes. We used Streamline for an extensive remodel of our Cardiff Townhouse. It was built in the 80s so needed a lot of updating. After interviewing a few general contractors, I met with Paul and instantly knew he was our guy and understood our vision. This was our first project of this magnitude so Paul and his team's extensive knowledge along the way was incredibly helpful. Logan was our day to day contact and did a tremendous job finding solutions to unique requests and sourcing materials/services. The team's expertise and experience also helped guide us to make the best decisions possible. We also changed our minds a few times and Logan was always very patient and accommodating. His positive attitude made a huge difference in making this process easy and efficient! The team went above and beyond by working late nights and weekends to meet our aggressive schedule. Our finished home is incredible and we are so happy with the high quality of work from Streamline. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends!

I have an historic home in San Diego and embarked on, what was to me, a major remodel. I interviewed several general contractors to find the right fit. I needed someone who would take care of my home and take care of me. I wanted someone who was passionate about the project. Within 5 minutes of meeting Paul from Streamline Development, I knew that my search was over. I had a great feeling from the very beginning about Paul. I felt his passion for his work and more importantly, for my project. Even though I waited for a formal bid from him to hire him, I knew that it was a done deal from the beginning. For me, it is not all about the money. I was not looking for the cheapest contractor. I was looking for the best! Incidentally, I interviewed 4 highly recommended General Contractors for the job. The process from start to finish was fantastic. We had a few challenges along the way, some expected and some not (like dealing with very difficult neighbors). Paul and his crew handled each challenge with skill and precision. The entire project took approx 7 months. I lived in the house during construction. During that time, I have to be honest, I had a couple of melt-downs. These were not related to the work being done per se but just because 7 months of dust and noise can take its toll. Paul and his crew knew just how to deal with those moments and took very good care of me. The Streamline personnel are good decent honest people. They were respectful 100% of the time and they do fantastic work. I got so used to having Paul, Logan and John around the house that once the project was completed and they left, I went through a bit of a withdrawal. Streamline was not the cheapest bid that I got but I believe you get what you pay for. Paul, Logan and John went the extra mile to make certain that no detail was left out. I would absolutely use them again (and most likely will) and absolutely recommend them to anyone who cherishes quality work by good honest and reliable people.

Streamline development recently completed a total remodel on my home. Streamline, its owner, Paul Spadone, its staff and subcontractors were amazing. They were attentive, professional, produced high quality work and addressed all of my concerns as the project proceeded though design, demolition and construction.
