CHIC Redesign

I worked with Sunspace Design and JT on the Concord MA sunroom project. It was a large complex 23'x16' project which required careful planning, but JT and Sunspace designed a stunning glass roof that went beyond my clients' expectations. With our contractor Richard Gerace of RG Construction on our side and without whom we could not have done it, the glass roof was delivered and installed to create what is now the best room in the house. Thank you to JT and the team at Sunspace Design for a magnificent piece.

Given our unique home design, we called a number of companies and looked at numerous options when we decided to replace an existing, 38 year-old glass sunroom. We knew we didn’t want one of those aluminum-looking, “bolt on” sunrooms that seem like an afterthought! Our main goal was custom glass structure with a beautiful exterior and interior look and feel that would fit into the existing architecture in a seamless and elegant way. Sunspace Design really delivered. From the initial conversation, through the design phase, to the demolition of the existing structure, to the delivery, construction and finish work: they took care of everything. Sunspace managed the entire project on budget and on time. If you are looking for a high-end, top quality, reliable home project partner, Sunspace Design should be on your call list.

We chose Sunspace Design over other companies because we wanted a custom sunroom- not a one-size-fits-all outfit that assembles pre-made components. They carefully listened to our wishes, and designed just what we asked for! They custom-build an 18' x 14' Glass Conservatory attached to our home. They also made helpful suggestions to give us a unique room, complete with varnished mahogany ceiling beams and an all-glass roof. Their workmen are professionals with many years of experience- not easy to find these days when anybody with a hammer can call themselves a carpenter. They strategically used cedar in places to assure no rotting wood in the decades to come. When we asked for changes along the way, they had the experience to know how to accomplish it. We also interviewed other sunroom companies, but they could only offer pre-fab units in limited sizes... basically, they were "assemblers" for large franchises- exactly what we didn't want. Sunspace Design builds custom rooms- based on what you want, how you want it, and something that doesn't look like it came from one of the 'Box Stores'. Tom, his son, JT, and their crew were all very qualified professionals, each with many years of experience. We highly recommend Sunspace Design!!!
