My design rates are very reasonable for this region and I work very hard to meet my client's goals. I give all my clients, large and small, 110% of my attention. However, sometimes clients have unrealistic expectations and refuse to listen to reality. In the end, they refused to pay over $5,700 in design work I did for them in good faith. I just walked away and wished them well.
During the first year after completion, we responded to all the owners’ every requests in a timely manner. During the second year we still responded to little repairs like a closet door being knocked off track. Some things we couldn’t do anything about like an almost imperceptible blemish in the granite fireplace surround.
It is very important to us to make our clients happy and we work hard at it. However, sometimes, despite our best efforts, we have unfortunate disagreements.
