The Good Wood Guys LLC sells retail hardwood and provides design and shop services. We are a specialty store providing rough sawn lumber, live-edge slabs, planed and jointed wood ready for use. We offer highly competitive prices and a unique product not immediately available from other retailers in the area. In fact, our good wood and competitive prices have garnered us repeat customers not just in Montana, but also in North Dakota, Wyoming, and Canada.
Cabinet makers, contractors, architects, and weekend woodworkers all buy our product. Many of our customers also take advantage of our design and shop services.

We provide design and shop services. We can help our customers design a table or other piece based on the slab or wood they choose. We also offer shop services based on customer need. Depending on your skills and budget, we can sell you just the rough wood to make your project yourself, complete the project for you, or any step in between.
