About Us

The Good Wood Guys LLC sells retail hardwood and provides design and shop services. We are a specialty store providing rough sawn lumber, live-edge slabs, planed and jointed wood ready for use. We offer highly competitive prices and a unique product not immediately available from other retailers in the area. In fact, our good wood and competitive prices have garnered us repeat customers not just in Montana, but also in North Dakota, Wyoming, and Canada. Cabinet makers, contractors, architects, and weekend woodworkers all buy our product. Many of our customers also take advantage of our design and shop services.

Services Provided

We provide design and shop services. We can help our customers design a table or other piece based on the slab or wood they choose. We also offer shop services based on customer need. Depending on your skills and budget, we can sell you just the rough wood to make your project yourself, complete the project for you, or any step in between.

Areas Served

We are located in Great Falls, Montana, and we serve clients in Wyoming and North Dakota as well. We can assist people in the United States and abroad.

The Good Wood Guys are incredible. They are wood artists! They talk with you and get a feel and understanding of what your vision is and then make it a reality. Actually they make it better than what you could imagine. They treat you like family instead of another customer. I cannot state enough how much I really love working with these guys. I recommend them to all my friends, coworkers and family. You will not be disappointed with there product or their customer service. Also the honorary wood dog that roams the building is a sweet heart! Go now and visit them, you will not regret it. They make your house a home with their products!

Commented: Protecting Kitchen tableAs "sloyder" stated, it is difficult to know for sure unless we know if the table is just stained, or if it has a finish on it. You may be able to do a brush on polyurethane over the top if...
