T.H.E Remodel Group is a full-service design-build firm located in the Portland, OR area striving to build not only beautiful homes but everlasting relationships with our clients. Providing the area with 10+ years of service has given us the expertise to do a variety of different projects. From basements converted to living spaces to expanding the square footage of an already existing space – T.H.E. Remodel Group has done it all. We are always hard at work behind the scenes. From the first initial phone call & consultation to the completion of the project we want you to feel like a part of the process. As you share your wants and needs with us, we carefully listen – along with our design team we take those ideas with your budget in mind and show you what your dream could look like. Once the design has been chosen, we kick in to gear all the parts and pieces that will make up your project. We give you a timeline and do our absolute best to accomplish the work, we refuse to cut corners or sacrifice quality. This includes cleaning up every day on the job site to limit the amount of disruption to your home. We are very happy we chose T.H.E. Remodel Group to do our whole house remodel in S Portland. We had specific designs and floor plan ideas and Kaitlyn listened, advised and used her expertise to get all the details on paper. She is excellent at time management and kept us on a timeline. Kaitlyn provided her design talents to help us narrow down the immense choices of materials to make a cohesive look throughout the house. Project manager Michael is brilliant at problem solving when dealing with the unknown obstacles of remodeling, as is Erich. Both are true craftsmen, understanding, and give attention to detail. Danya helped hold us together, always had a listening ear, but also contributed keen ideas. The whole team supports each other and works well together. We are thrilled with our new place and the quality of work from TRG.

THE Remodel Group just finished our structural kitchen/living room remodel on our 1970’s ranch in Cornelius, OR and we are absolutely obsessed with the finished product and our basically new home. Working with TRG was dream from design through build. Having an in-house design team to work with to navigate the layout options and finish options made a huge difference to our experience in this project and I can’t speak highly enough about Kaitlyn and her expertise. When it came time to start the build, we were so impressed with how quickly and efficiently they worked, sometimes staying at our house after hours to finish up a project, and never missing a day. The build went so quick, and we were able to move in to a brand new home4 weeks early. I highly recommend this design firm for any remodel projects, they don’t cut corners and the quality is high.

I am working with Kaitlyn and the rest of the team at THE Remodel Group to create a living space in an existing detached garage. Kaitlyn was very patient and helpful as we went through multiple rounds of revisions. Her creativity, knowledge of the process and experience were really invaluable. It made the process really fun! I was always excited to see the next set of renderings in her emails. She thought of every detail, even the details that I did not know existed. And she responded to emails quickly and with clear communication.

We contacted Steve & the team for a full kitchen & bath remodel along with a general 1st floor refresh of our home. The entire team is organized & responsive. Our remodel project was in great hands from start to finish. The demo team was extraordinary. Our questions were answered with a range of options and we managed to stay within budget. We appreciated the use of the Pinterest board to assist in developing our design and the thorough guidance to bring that vision to our home. I worked with The Remodel Group on a whole house remodel this last year. I bought a challenging house/property in Damascus while I was still residing in Southern California and I cannot say enough about my designer, Kaitlyn. She was so good at communication and working with my random schedule either via Zoom or when I made visits up to Damascus. She really understood what I wanted and set up appointments that were spot on in terms of choosing finishes and other products for the remodel. One of the best moments was picking out tile with Kaitlyn and my daughter. Kaitlyn really got the source right and we found exactly what we wanted. It was a super fun day anticipating what the remodel would look like when complete. I always knew where we stood on the project and now that it is done, I walk through this beautiful house and am excited by it every single day. I get so many compliments! The Remodel Group really has great people. A big thank you to Michael and Erich (the BEST human!) for managing this project and taking care of my family and pets and all the last minute details to get this house finished.

We orginally contacted THE Remodel Group about building an ADU and Office. Unfortantely due to an increase in prices and a financial change we were only able to build the office. However, THE Remodel Group stuck with us and helped us see our dream through! WE now have a beautiful, functional office and garage that supports our work and large family. THE Remodel group was always responsive and collaborative. I felt as if I was listened to throughout the process. I felt safe with every contractor and worker they brought to my home. They were wonderfully patient when my children were running around asking a million questions. I hope that we one day are able to complete our ADU project with THE Remodel group as well.

We are so lucky we found THE Remodel Group to help us with our Whole House Remodel in SW Portland. The older outdated house we purchased approx. 2300 sqft needed a lot of love and what better people to hire than this amazing team. From our first meeting they gave us the confidence and compassion we were looking for in a home renovation company. We had an amazing experience with Steve and his team as they helped us transform this old house into our dream home. Kaitlyn, the Designer, is a joy to work. What could have been a stressful part of the remodel was made easier by her understanding of our wants/needs, her eye to detail, design knowledge and suggestions. Our home design came together by our collaboration and we cannot thank her enough. She helped bring our vision to life! The whole project came together just as planned with minimal hiccups. During the project each department from design to construction came up with suggestions and alternatives whenever we ran into an unexpected issues which are bound to happen with older homes. I had a wonderful experience working with Kaitlyn at T.H.E. Remodel Group. Together we designed a kitchen addition to our home in Canby, Oregon. Whoever originally designed our house was definitely not someone who spent much time cooking. It had a small kitchen without much natural light and felt closed off from the rest of the house. We ended up gutting the space and starting all over. We added 3 feet with a wall that featured a glass block window running above the countertop. I had an initial idea of what I wanted and Kaitlyn was the key to turning my dreams into reality. It was fun going shopping with her to pick out cabinets, tile, countertops and flooring. She has a great eye for what colors and textures work together. Her computer program could show me what different options looked like before we committed on making out final choices. One thing that was really important to me was that the kitchen express both art and be a comfortable space in which to create meals. So we added shelves to display art objects and balanced that with efficient cooking spaces. Kaitlyn understood how to make that happen. The result is a space that is both beautiful and utilitarian.

We had T.H.E. Remodel Group design and build a total remodel of our kitchen, living/family and dining room in our Durham home. The design process, headed by Kaitlyn, was exceptional and made a difference in establishing a cohesive style that we plan to utilize throughout the entire house in future projects. She patiently listened to our ideas and incorporated them, plus her own, into a wonderful open concept design. We valued the collaboration and sharing of ideas, leveraging the T.H.E. team's expertise in design-build construction. The whole design process was seamless and knowing that Kaitlyn will work directly with the project team coordinating the build significantly reduces our stress levels. Last year we had The Remodel Group design and construct a total redo of two and a half bathrooms in our Sherwood home. This was not an easy task since we wanted to totally shift and update our shower, bath, faucets and vanity in the Master Bathroom plus completely update the other two. The design process, headed by Kaitlyn, was totally stress free because of her patience, listening skills, and great ideas. She listened and incorporated our thoughts seamlessly into the final design. She knows how to make a collaborative process work. The construction phase was as problem free as it possibly could be. Our concerns were always dealt with quickly and to our complete satisfaction. The result is that we now have three totally updated, beautiful bathrooms. We constantly receive compliments on how the design combined function with a modern feel. In short, this is how a design-build process should work and The Remodel Group gets it. If there is a remodel in your future call The Remodel Group.
