The project is a pool and outdoor living space renovation which involves a creative approach as the access to the site is quite difficult. Our budget is quite tight therefore consideration has to be given every inch of the way. Tongue & Groove is very innovative, patient and works tirelessly to achieve quality even within strict budgets.

We contracted Mark Baton with Tongue and Groove to design and build a private outdoor space with a deck, pool, hot tub and fire pit. Since we did not live in the area and this was our vacation home, we needed a company that would design, build, and totally oversee all construction. We cannot say enough good things about Mark and his crew. Mark handled everything, keeping in close contact with us during the construction. We love our new outside room! The views are spectacular as well as the pool. Whenever anyone see's the space for the first time, their reaction is "wow!". We have done previous remodeling jobs on other houses in the past and have never had a ontractor as good as Mark. We would highly recommend him and his company to anyone and would definitely use them again for any upcoming projects.

We had half our ranch house (1953) demolished and Tougue & Groove in effect built a new house onto our old house. We now have the best of the old and the new. From the outset we were pleased with the builder's ideas, tone, and attitude toward the project. He came up with ideas we hadn't thought of, he was punctual, flexible and very able. We could not be happier with the project. People are always telling us what a wonderful "feel" our house has. This would NOT have happened, we are convinced, withOUT Tougue & Groove. --Clyde & Kristina Edgerton

I am a subcontractor who works with Tongue and Groove (Mark Batson), and over the last 8 years I have built a lot of his custom cabinets. He is a 5 star builder and is fantastic. His jobs are not fast, but they are completed in reasonable amounts of time. Hands down, he has the best eye for design and function out of all the contractors I've worked for. And when it comes time for me to build my own house, I will definitely have Mark build it.
