I wish I could give 10 stars! I cannot speak more highly of TR as a design-build firm. Rick and Todd are honest, trustworthy & upfront. Most contractors will tell you anything to get the job, but TR’s estimates were dead-on and they finished on time & on budget — which is unheard of. Also, a lot of architects will create incredible, over the top plans, but they have no interest in making them affordable to build. With TR, they knew my budget & were able to design/plan accordingly, accurately & beautifully. Many friends have been wooed by elaborate architects‘ plans & then completely deflated when they went to bid on contractors and found their projects to be completely unaffordable. That won’t happen with TR. Additionally, Rick & Todd are perfectionists and won’t let any sloppy work slide. There is no higher bar - seriously. Long story short: With TR, you get what you pay for (and more) and you will come in on budget, on time and without any headaches. Other firms will revise their low-ball estimates as soon as they get going.

These guys are the best. I've worked with Rick Krug on several projects, and his conscientious attention to detail is the best i've ever worked with. They do the job right, no shortcuts. They are also very realistic when it comes to estimates for jobs. Bottom line, they do great work and care very much about their customers. I would highly and without hesitance recommend them to any and everybody, from specific remodeling jobs to whole home construction.

Revel Custom Wine Cellars

Revel Cellars recently worked with TR Building & Remodeling for the installation of a wine cellar unit that required their expertise in assessing the space, providing accurate dimensions and recommendations for revising existing electrical conditions to accommodate the installation of our custom cabinetry. Rick Krug and his team were responsive, professional and easy to work with throughout the project. The client was very pleased with the end result as well. I would recommend them to anyone without reservation.

We hired TR Building & Remodeling for our kitchen renovations. They are extremely knowledgable and helpful and brainstormed with us to come up with our overall design plans. They took a lot of time upfront to ensure that once they started they would be prepared with all materials and resources needed to execute project to completion within our agreed time frame. We had an amazing project manager onsite that handled every aspect of oversight and coordination with all vendors so we did not have to worry about anything. They were accurate with their timeline and budget and let us know what to expect with each stage of the project. We are thrilled with our end result and our kitchen is amazing. TR and all their staff are professional and a pleasure to work with. They provide exceptional workmanship and are clearly experts in their trade. We recommend them and their services highly.

TR Building and Remodeling completed 3 different renovation projects of our home over the last 5 years ranging from a basement renovation, expansion and renovation of an attic space to a kitchen/study/family room renovation project. Their budgeting and planning for each project were very accurate and on target. The only changes in budget came when we ourselves changed our mind mid-project about a few things. We were always kept apprised of when workmen would be on site and if not, why. The projects were completed in a timely manner and and any followup issues were dealt with quickly and to our satisfaction. i would highly recommend their services for any sized building or renovation project.

TR Building took our 1978 playroom and turned it into a wonderful, transitional, cathedral-ceilinged hang out room for our 4 teen-agers. Everyone who worked on the project was professional, courteous, punctual and knowledgeable. The project was on budget and on time (the 2 most important aspects of any job). The room was left broom clean each night during the renovation and the workers were extremely respectful around our family. Todd and Rick (TR) are both extremely fastidious and perfectionists in all that they do. We will definitely hire them again for future renovations.
