True North completed a whole house remodel for us in 2020. We screened several companies before settling on True North Builders. From the beginning we felt they were being honest and upfront about what they could do and what the cost might be. This was a large project and we had some very specific requirements and expectations. The team from True North guided us through every step of the process including design, material selection, construction and they were there to assist with issues after the project was complete. For anyone who has ever taken on a project of this type you understand a couple of things… First, there is a price for quality materials and superior workmanship. The second is in any type of remodel there will be issues you did not fully anticipate before starting the project. The important thing is to work with a company you can trust. We are very happy with the results of our project and enthusiastically recommend True North. Our project came out great and they bent over backwards even after construction, through the warranty period to make sure that everything was right.

My husband and I worked with True North on a great room renovation. We moved a fireplace and added substantial stonework on the fireplace and other accents in the home. My favorite part of the room is beautiful crown moldings and corbels that finish it all off! We had several different crews in our home from demo, stonework, ,carpentry, and paint . Each crew was clean, friendly and polite. Craig and his team did a beautiful job!

We can't rave enough about Craig and True North Builders. We remodeled our master bedroom and bathroom. Sounds fairly simple but everything goes to hell quickly once you start opening walls. Craig was their to guide us and adjusted quickly to what we wanted to do, even after we changed our minds 5 times. We ended up having to replace a hot water heater and furnace and Craig made it extremely easy and straightforward. Even after we had completed the reno, Craig helped with a couple of problems that cropped up and even helped us get a electrician for an unrelated issue. True North is an amazing family business with people who care about you. True North will cost you a bit more than other contractors but the service and guidance was well worth it and the quality of work is outstanding.

True North Builders was excellent during our recent remodel project. They were always very professional and provided top notch service. They guided us step by step through the remodel process via an on-line schedule & frequent communication through our project manager. They set up meetings for us when we needed to visit the sub-contractors and sent someone to assist with our design choices. The individuals who came to work on our project were experts in their field, trustworthy & professional. Everything was done in a timely fashion and the area was always left clean. We would highly recommend True North Builders and will use them again if we ever have a need.

I hired True North Builders to remodel my kitchen and part of the main floor in my home. During my first interaction with them, I was impressed by their punctuality, professionalism and their listening skills. The project was laid out in detail as far as cost and timeline for completion. Their attention to detail throughout the whole project and their commitment to my satisfaction was above anything I expected. The finished remodel was done with careful attention to every detail and I did not have make a final payment until I was 100% satisfied. I would recommend True North Builders without any reservation, my best experience ever with a contractor, A+.

True North Builders, Inc. has completed four separate projects for my home (built in 1983) from summer 2008 to autumn 2011, including a 700 sq. ft. woodworking shop (stand-alone building in the back yard), a basement bathroom remodel, an upstairs complete remodel of 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms, and main floor kitchen/family room/powder room remodel. Each project was completed with the utmost professionalism, within budget guidelines and completed as per the schedule provided at the beginning of the project. The True North staff members - every one - are attentive to the customer's needs and very pleasant to work with. The subcontractors were always trustworthy and professional as well (as a single female, this was extremely important to me). My home is now truly a "True North" home and the compliments never cease! (P.S. The project date/cost info below was for the kitchen/family room remodel.)
