As a native New Yorker and lifelong resident of NYC, with a masters in Urban Planning and over 300 construction projects under my belt, I'm pretty good at identifying undervalued neighborhoods and undervalued properties within those undervalued neighborhoods. I come from a family of artists. So, I grew up in loft spaces here in NYC. Later in life I lived in more conventional apartments, both in NYC and abroad. I think these experiences instilled in me a fascination with how varied spaces can work, about how to create private, intimate spaces within lofts and about how to create a sense of openness in more traditional apartment layouts.
VBDB aims to ensure that every project results in a referral, reference or recommendation. We will leave the work area clean, broom swept and vacuumed. If more extensive cleaning is necessary, let us know and we can likely line up a more comprehensive clean-up.
Once we have performed a project for you, we see you as part of the VBDB family, if you should refer us future work, we’re more than happy to set you up with a referral system whereby you would be remunerated at an agreed upon percentage of the prospective project.
We handle every single facet of the project, from interior design, architectural services coordination, engineering coordination, permitting and every facet of the construction process including project management.
Already have plans, approved drawings, permits, floorplans etc.? We can provide quantities and costs for takeoffs / estimates / bids for your construction project. We love meeting and working with architects and designers who are outside of our current network.
Need someone to put the whole thing together? Or, to coordinate all the parties already in place? No worries, we got you, for a small percentage of the overall project cost, we'll review all proposals from architects, trades etc., and help you perform quality control, review all change orders, flag and present possible credit memos etc., This service will pay for itself four-fold.
