Visionary Homes

Do not work with Visionary Homes, you've been warned. My husband and I were looking to buy a home in St. George. We offered full asking price but Aubrey was not able to get a contract to us for 2 days after we offered full asking price. She told me she couldn't get us a contract because the order on flooring hadn't been processed. When we first met with Aubrey, we scheduled an appointment. She was late and she didn't offer to show us houses, instead she gave us the code to all of the neighborhood houses and told us we could go into any home we wanted to with the code (including already under contract/sold homes). While this was convenient, I was surprised she wasn't offering to show us the homes herself and answer any questions we had while we viewed the homes. When we asked to speak with her supervisor after she told me she didn't know the answer to our questions, she refused and would not give us her supervisors name/number. She couldn't provide us comps of other homes and she said that she didn't know how to use the Flex MLS to look at comps (what kind of realtor doesn't know how to use the MLS????). She didn't offer to later provide us with comps or ask her supervisor help with obtaining comps. My husband asked her about the HOA and she said "I haven't read it so I don't know that answer." Instead of offering to send us a copy of the HOA I had to request it and then she never sent it. When I asked her about a fence and she couldn't give me the answer, her reason for not providing an answer was "this is a learning process for me." Many of her answers were "I don't know" and she expected us to accept that. When you're spending $500-$900K on a home, you need the answers to your questions! She made us feel like our questions weren't important and and that we weren't a priority. When we decided we wanted the house, we made an appointment, 24 hours in advance, to come to the Visionary Showroom and she had nothing prepared for us. It took her over an hour to retrieve samples of cabinets, tiles, etc. for a 1684 sq ft home while we waited. She had all day to prepare this for us. While we were there she showed us her computer of a recently purchased home and said "just pretend you don't see the name of the buyer." I was surprised she wasn't respecting the privacy laws of a buyer and showing us their information, including their names and purchase price. My husband is very polite and calm and after we asked questions over the phone regarding an HOA question and fence height, she said "I'm personally offended." See google reviews for complete review.

They are very good about coming back and doing what ever you need to make you happy. I would recommend Visionary’s home to anyone.

We built our home with Visionary. We had a great experience with them and we love our home! Each detail of our home is perfect! They worked with us and added some of the extras that we really wanted in a home. We would definitely build with them again.

We are building our second custom home with Mt. Sterling Construction. There has been a nice attention to detail and great customer service.
