What a company, We hired Vita Design Group to renovate our existing house from top to bottom. Lucien our architect and his amazing team transformed our property. We knew we wanted a modern take but not lose its historical charm. Lucien did just that. He is that good. After our initial meeting he came up with a few designs. We loved his vision and we completely gave him flexibility and control. We live on the river so there are challenges with obtaining permits/etc. Even so they managed to finish the whole job in the time frame they gave us. I promise you they will elevate any project you have in mind. I have nothing but praise and respect. If you are looking for a company that you can trust you will find it in Vita Design Group.

We worked with the Vita Design Group on a ground-up, high-end residential project in Westport Ct. Our firm usually designs everything in a project, from the layout all the way to fluffing the last pillow, and we have occasionally butted heads with various architects over the years who sometimes insist on dominating the project. I worked with Lucien Vita who is the founder of Vita Design. Lucien designed my new home. He is the nicest person anyone can work with so easy, sincere and caring. He has become a friend. It was a collaboration between him and I. He is incredibly talented and passionate about his work. One might say, he pushes the envelop to know about the latest technology. My new home is extremely well built, unusual and beautiful. A very common reaction when someone walks into my house the first time is "Awesome!". He has an excellent design sense. Most architects can design any style house including modern but I was looking for an architect whose strength is pure modern and Lucien did it. He could build any style beautifully but his passion is modern. If you want a modern house, he is the one to design it. Lucien stayed with the project from start to finish. Building a house from the ground up can be very stressful. I had my moments but for the most part it was a fun experience. It was a process that took about two years . We saw a lot of each other in the office, in the field and on the road checking things out and we're still friends. If I built another house Lucien Vita would be my architect. I like him as an Architect and as a person. He also has a very dedicated office and technical staff who were always responsive to my needs They are all involved in the latest technology. It's a very friendly comfortable office.

Lucien and Gary did an amazing job planning and designing our dream home. From day one we realized they understood perfectly well what we wanted to achieve. A couple of weeks later, they showed us their first version of the project and their "idea" of what it would look like and we fell in love with it right there. Our appreciation for their work only increased throughout the project and execution phases. Their architectural knowledge and experience was super important in making a "modern" house not stand out too much in an area with mostly traditional houses.

We hired Lucien Vita for multiple phases of our home renovation which included all rooms (living room, kitchen, family room, deck, bedrooms, basement and bathrooms). He was sensitive to our needs and design aesthetics, provided an array of alternatives and was respectful to the budget. Lucien managed the construction process and provided valuable input to issues that arouse. He was also a valuable resource in suggesting vendors, supplier and professionals. It was a pleasurable experience and we would definitely work with Lucien again.

My husband and I reached out to Lucien a few years ago to handle a large home renovation. We bought a 1950s split level home, and unfortunately, we did a quick first renovation without an architect (big mistake!) We needed Lucien to amend some major issues, infuse some modern updates, as well as create a new floor plan to our first level and basement level. The entire process was an honest collaboration and we were able to gain a spacious kitchen, beautiful built-ins, a powder room, a coveted mudroom etc…It is an amazing experience to see your vision come to life. Lucien was on point with regards to budget and any changes we had along the way. His strong relationship with our builder made the renovation flow smoothly too. The talent, creativity and modern approach the firm has towards each project transformed our home and the end product is beautiful.

From the moment my husband and I met Lucien, we knew he was a genuine person with vast creative ideas. This was what we were looking for when deciding to embark on a long-term relationship for the creation of our new home. Lucien’s ideas on how to bring our dream to reality furthered our trust in him and admiration for his work. What Lucien has created in our home is a complete marriage of art and architecture. We challenged Lucien to design an open floor plan home with built-in art niche’s to showcase very special family sculpture. Since sculpture is a 3 dimensional expression, Lucien was truly able to design locations where our art is displayed and experienced from many rooms. Lucien functions very much like a true artist, taking ownership and quality assurance of his end product. We never felt we were counting hours and revisions that he put into our project but rather he gave whatever was needed to complete the job to his and my level of approval. We would absolutely use Lucien again for any project, large or small to help bring ideas to reality.
