It was a real pleasure working with David, Joel and the Walbridge Design team. Throughout the entire process their communication was great, even when having to deal with covid related delays. They always listened to our ideas an incorporated them flawlessly and advised us of other, better options, when appropriate. At each critical decision making junction, they would check with us to make sure we were still pleased with the direction the project was going and the next step. The finished project (Fern St portico) was even better than we had envisioned. We can't recommend Walbridge Design Build enough, especially if you looking for a team with a real eye for detail and design.

Walbridge Design did a beautiful job with our built in cabinets. Wish we used them when we rebuilt our home a few years ago! They were fairly priced and very quick to respond throughout the project. Other professionals who provided quotes only wanted to build as we requested. David pointed out that the space would look asymmetrical since there was a gap between the cabinet and the wall which they solved for. The end product is gorgeous and looks like it was always a part of the house!

David listened to us and designed our space to include the items on our wish list while still maintaining the integrity of our charming little Cape. His construction team was able to pivot quickly when we added or changed direction. They were skilled, timely, respectful, and a pleasure to work with. We are very pleased with our new space and all of its unique features.

David and his roofer Steve just completed replacement of a new wood shingle roof as well as a section of asphalt shingles on our home following damage from a falling tree. I have never had harder workers than the roofing crew David brought to the job. Steve and his team also were very careful of our plantings and cleaned up virtually every scrap and nail. I would highly recommend David and his team.

Excellent outcome to a leak in basement. They were recommended by my neighbors. Will hire them again. They were timely, clean and courteous. House looks great.

We hired Walbridge Design Build after meeting with them at a prospective house. Redesigning an entire house on the top of a mountain could have been a stressful process. However, David and his team worked with us every step of the way and we could not be happier with the end product. Their design ideas coupled with their willingness to be flexible made this one of the most rewarding experiences for us. We are partnering with them to redesign the outside of the property this coming Spring!

We hired Walbridge Design Build to remodel the front and back of a new home that we purchased on a corner. Best decision we ever made. With high visibility from two sides and many complicated issues relative to the home's topography, our wish list was quite long, but our budget was limited. David met with us many times to understand our needs and wants and also helped us slow down, so we didn't rush into anything we wouldn't like in the future in our effort to "be done." His team was here for months without any issue, and if I hadn't seen them with my own eyes, I barely would have known they were here. Their clean up was perfect and they were lovely people. As full-time working parents with two kids, a dog, and house guests coming and going, that was really appreciated. In the end, our home now has the charm that we desired, and David's suggestions along the way helped us address elements of the home that had been poorly designed. Perhaps the most impressive thing about the company is that they really worked on behalf of our best interest and not their own. We had hoped to build a large deck in the back of our home to address "a pit" that we had in the back; however, the more David examined the combination of issues we would need to consider in the future, he suggested that we pursue a landscaping solution instead. We have now done that, and he was right; we will be happier with that than the deck we had originally requested. Most firms would likely have just done the job to take the money, but Walbridge Design Build helped us see the best solution for our problem instead of just taking the project to serve their own needs. I would highly recommend Walbridge Design Build if you want an impressive result with a respectful and talent team paired with a hassle-free experience.

We bought our condo after visiting friends who live in an identical unit that had been renovated by WDB. Then we hired WDB to transform our unit. David listened to us and came up with great ideas and worked for the space and our needs. I appreciate how he steered us in the right direction without pressuring us. Many times, I was overwhelmed with the number of decisions I had to make in so many rooms. David helped by giving me a workable schedule for choosing finishes and fixtures. I also value how he handled some tricky situations that invariably come up with a renovation in a condo building, where other unit owners are impacted. Finally, I am surprised and pleased with the nice unexpected touches that WDB added. In many ways, WDB exceeded our expectations. We are so pleased and enjoy our new home every minute of every day. I would definitely hire WDB again. David takes pride in his work and I am happy with the process and the product.

Walbridge Design Build made our kitchen renovation a fun, creative and low stress project. I hired Walbridge Design Build for a basement renovation that was a really meaningful project for my family. David and his group did a spectacular job and exceeded my expectations. The space does not feel like a basement at all, but a true extension of the living space in my home. David's attention to detail and professionalism made it an easy working relationship. The professionals (plumber, electrician, tile guys, carpenter, etc) he had working on the job were the cleanest and most respectful sub-contractors I've ever worked with. They left the space neat each day, even though it was not part of our regular living space. David respected the design that we supplied him with and worked well with me to make it better and more functional.
