I had extensive water damage in my house from a leaky fridge line and needed a good contracting team to come in once the water damage was professionally dried out. I was referred to Walker Homes through an acquaintance and I am so grateful for that referral. I was in over my head looking at the damage spanning 3 rooms and then I met Kim and he took the stress out of the equation for me. The team kept me updated throughout the process and they worked hard to get the project done as quickly as possible , without compromising the quality of the work, so I could get back to living in my home again. We discovered Walker Homes when I desperately put out feelers for a reliable contractor to manage a remodel after our first one had ghosted us. Not only did they complete the job in a timely manner, they coached us through our design development, accommodated our extensive list of questions and needs, and completed the work with better quality than we even imagined. On a few occasions, their instincts and experiences led them to find creative solutions to problems that often come with an old house. They offered expert and polite guidance when our wishes weren't the best option for our budget and space. We always felt that they had our best interests as their top priority. We hired them again for another remodel a couple years after the first, and they're already lined up to complete a third. We couldn't be happier with the quality of their work, their professionalism, and their communication.

I'm a complete newbie to construction. My project was a tenant improvement project for a small office suite that had to be done in a short period. On day one, we saw Kim as a straight shooter. Of all the people we interviewed, we could see he was up for the challenge and dedicated to doing quality work and finishing on our time table. Kim and the team were responsive and always ready to answer our questions. Everyone told me to expect it to take longer and did not believe it when it was done just as promised. Walker is a gem.

Kim led us through the design/build process with creativity and professionalism. His team managed the project efficiently and provided excellent communications. We moved in on-time as scheduled.

My husband and I hired Walker homes to do a kitchen and bath remodel and they were wonderful. First of all, the staff and workers were all very professional. Alesha, our project manager, always called back in a timely manner when I had questions or concerns. Walker Homes were very honest in saying that while they were not the cheapest, they were not the most expensive either. When I felt like items were a bit beyond our price point, Alesha was happy to give us alternatives. I really appreciated that. Here are probably the 3 most important points I want to make: 1. The craftsmanship on the tile, quartzite, cabinetry was outstanding. 2. WH was very open about billing and what we are paying for. If I had a question, Jesse was happy to explain it in detail. 3. Finally, they finished on time! They met all my expectations! I would definitely recommend Walker Homes and use them again.

My house was built by Walker Homes. The whole team is very professional, courteous and easy to work with. The construction and finishes are high end, showing quality in the execution. Kim is conscientious, on top of all the details, he and the other members of his team are also very pleasant, eager to help whenever possible.I highly recommend them.

I have done several building and remodeling projects over the years. Walker Homes is the most professional, on-time, on-budget (to the extent this is ever possible) contracting company I have ever worked with. The bathroom remodel went smoothly once begun, and was finished in about a month. They were responsive and helpful every step of the way, from design, selection of fixtures, tile, etc. to the work itself. The result was beautiful. They immediately corrected small punch-list items even after the project was finished and paid for. The workers were friendly and at times were more like welcome guests than noisy intruders. Walker Homes did the design and building for a new master bedroom and bath for our home. They did an excellent job. They worked with us on getting the most value for our remodel dollar, giving very good advice on how changes would affect the feel of the existing space. The vendors they referred us to were good, particularly for the bathroom. We remained in the house during the remodel and the temporary walls they built minimized the impact of their work on us.

The team at Walker Homes is fantastic. They remodeled three bathrooms in my home and did an excellent job. What immediately sets Walker Homes apart is how quickly they respond to any questions or issues that arise. They also have a great working relationship with subcontractors and vendors, which is a huge benefit to their customers. I also appreciate that they care about the details, which makes working with them a pleasure. I will be contacting them again when I'm ready to take on remodeling the kitchen.

We were a little apprehensive undertaking the remodeling of our kitchen. After interviewing a few contractors, we chose Walker Homes and it was just the right choice. Kim Walker and his team have greatly impressed us: they work efficiently altogether and with subcontractors, they resolve all issues quickly and without fuss, get things done when promised (and sometimes before), don’t run over budget, and, most remarkable of all, finished our kitchen remodeling on time. Kim, Alesha, Jesse are personable, thoughtful, friendly, adept at solving small problems, and filled with enthusiasm for their job. One can’t praise them enough. Six stars out of five.

The communication between his staff to the various subs is both complete, accurate and timely. The Walker Homes jobsites are clean and respectful to the client, especially during remodeling. Kim and his staff are extremely competent and do not hesitate to take on the challenges of remodels or the new construction. If it is innovative, this firm completes it to the wonderment of the other sub-contractors, which usually leaves the client totally satisfied. It is this personal dedication to the clients needs which translates into referrals. Kim Walker is hands-on on every project from their design-build capabilities to dealing with the permitting agencies. Simply stated, if you hire Walker Homes, you will be delighted with their results and your friends will be in amazement of their craftsmanship. The only downside to the completion of your remodel or new home is that you will be constantly answering your neighbors questions as to "who was your contractor?"
