Pros: -Sales Staff very attentive -Build beautiful homes -Larger builder so many options for add on’s and levels of finishes Cons: -Poor Communication from Construction Team -Construction changes rules without notice and affects how the sales team sold certain options -Lack of care from Construction Team when issues arise, and builder needs to fix an issue -Once house is “complete” lack of attention or progress to fix issues

WD built us a great home and we are highly satisfied. The process was during Covid so of course there were some delays, so project took a little longer than expected. All change orders were correct or corrected and both our initial sales person Kristen was great and our PM Marc was great. Building a custom home can be stressful so we knew that going in; however, WD made it a very positive experience. WD built us what we wanted. We have been in the home 1 year and very happy.

Hired Weston Dean to build our home in Cordillera Ranch, Texas, believing they knew local guidelines. We signed a contract and secured a loan. After paying significant deposits, we faced numerous issues. The company failed to provide important designs, requested multiple unclear changes, and hadn't even sought necessary construction approvals. Shockingly, they submitted fake plans to the local committee. Despite confronting them about an inflated charge for roof design, they suggested a complete project redesign. We asked for details about our money, but they've refused. Still, no plans have been approved, and it seems Weston Dean's shady practices have caused problems in other projects too. Beware.

From your review, it would appear that much of your concern is based upon a misunderstanding of the events described above. Our team has successfully built several homes for families in Cordillera Ranch and continue to do so now. We are very familiar with Cordillera Ranch’s guidelines and worked diligently and professionally with you and Cordillera Ranch to address each of your requested changes to the agreed design of your home after the contract was executed. At no time did our team submit “fake plans” to a local committee; the plans we submitted to the architectural control committee represented what your family wanted at the time of the submittal. However, numerous changes to the design of your home were made by you throughout the construction process and new plans and approvals had to be obtained for each new change. Our pricing is clearly set forth in the contract documents that each of our clients’ sign, including how owner-requested changes to the design are priced. After serving your family for nearly 18 months, our team presented a clear and reasonable path forward to build your dream home with each of the changes you requested at that time and your family did not wish to proceed.

Beautiful home! Selected Weston dean due to the stellar reputation and quality home building! Our sales counselor was Kristin Trip and she was absolutely fabulous! We love love love her! She is very knowledgeable, sweet and a go getter + a huge anchor in new builds. We will always be family to us! Adam was our project manager and we could not be happier! He builds homes like they are his own. He ensures quality, accountability and expects top services and product. He’s also committed to our needs, questions and concerns. He put a lot of love into our home. He brings so much to the team at Weston Dean. Office staff was on top of all the things and made everything flow. We would recommend Weston Dean as a home builder!

It can be scary trusting a home builder to take your hard earned money, listen to your needs and desires, and build the home of your dreams, but that’s exactly what Weston Dean did for my family. We absolutely love our new home and highly recommend them if you are looking for new home construction. Building anything man-made will always have a few bumps on the road, but Weston Dean made good on their promises, stood behind their word, and came to a fair resolution to help keep us on track. When my wife and I decided to finally build our dream home in the Hill Country. The next step was to find a great home builder. We were very fortunate in finding Weston Dean, and we quickly started the process of designing our dream home. Kristen and Shannon were so helpful, we felt like they were part of our family and that they truly cared about creating a home that would exceed our expectations. Commented: What's hiding behind that beautiful bathtub?Hi Kathryn, That is a window outside. The shower is just left of the Bath tub on the corner of the house and has two windows. I can take a picture of it for you when I get to the Bulverde Model today
