Designing and building our first house with Woodstock Building Associates has been a great experience. Unlike many stories we heard about building a house. WBA applies allot of experience, personal attention and professionalism to the whole project. We have relied on the entire team throughout the project, enjoyed watching the progression and are so excited about our beautiful and highly energy efficient home.

We sought out WBA for the design and build of our new home. The reputation of WBA is unmatched and our opening discussions about the design and build process provided a firsthand experience that is exhibited by so many of their prior clients. During the design phase, we shared our ideas, likes, dislikes, and the relative significance of various elements. Thoughtful questions and perspectives were shared as we moved from an initial sketch to a mature design that comprehensively integrated our requirements with thoughtful architectural and build considerations. We had a great partner throughout the build phase as well. It was evident that WBA has continually refined their selection of quality materials and finishing options based on research and experience. From the time the project broke ground to the day we moved in, we observed the workmanship of WBA and the sub-contractors that have formed trusted partnerships over many years. The work ethic and “do the right thing” approach was pervasive throughout; in the rare instances of material defects, WBA was proactive to re-mediate and their suppliers were responsive due to their long history. When reflecting on the entire process, it would be difficult to imagine a custom design and build reflect our vision while also executing so well and at the level of quality that was achieved. We are thankful to have had WBA as a trusted partner through our journey and we unequivocally recommend their work. I loved working with Woodstock Building, they were great from start to finish. We live in Texas but wanted to build a vacation home in CT and so did many of the meetings over the phone or by video call. Once we agreed on plans and a budget, they stuck to it and their timeline was solid - we were in our new house on June 1st as promised. We love this new house, it is our happy place and we can't wait to spend more time in it! WBA continues to work with me on any last minute additions I asked for (adding in a generator, an extra screen door, etc). and I feel like I can count on them to help me with anything that comes up in the future. I can't recommend this team enough!

Everything about WBA is first class. They remade our kitchen and did some other remodeling. Their designers were creative and budget conscious, their planning and execution was terrific, the workmanship was superb, and everybody was friendly and gelpful.
