Keith, our project manager, was incredible throughout the entire project. He was very patient with all of my product selections and always provided thoughtful, expert input that truly elevated the final result. Once construction began, every single person on their crew was respectful, professional, and courteous of our home. At the end of each day, everything was cleaned up and organized, which we appreciated so much during a major remodel. One thing that really sets Salt Point apart is that they do very little subcontracting. They have an exceptionally skilled in-house team where each person specializes in their craft, and it absolutely shows in the quality of work. Miguel’s tile work is hands-down the best we have ever seen. Chris, the carpenter, absolutely nailed every last detail. Erik’s work ethic was unmatched, and Berg did a fantastic job with all of the electrical work. Truly an amazing team all around. A huge shoutout as well to Jim, the owner, for building such a talented group of people and personally making sure everything was top-notch throughout the project. “I cannot say enough good things about Red Rock Finishes! They renovated both of our bathrooms in 2024 and they are beautiful! Not only did they update them with beautiful tiling on the shower wall and floors, they also took care of some major structural issues that most contractors would not have notified us of. The attention to detail by Bernie, Steve and the rest of the crew was so appreciated! In February of 2025, a winter storm caused water to leak into our kitchen ceiling, light fixture and walls; we had no idea how much damage was being done. We contacted Red Rock Finishes again and they were able to correctly access the damage; and correct it. Had we not contacted them, we would have been dealing with future leaking from our soffit and major mold growth behind the cabinets and wall. With their guidance, skill and professionalism, they were able to renovate and update our kitchen. They turned our nightmare into the kitchen of our dreams. “We cannot say enough good things about Kershaw-Zalewski Associates Inc. Jamie and his crew are reliable, detail oriented, very skilled and honest- we could go on and on. They also have excellent design sense. They do not cut corners to increase their profit. They also keep things squeaky clean while the project is underway- and ours was a very big project- so we could continue to comfortably live in our house. Furthermore, they have been immediately available even after all of the invoices were paid- for any problem or question, small or large, related- or not related to their work. In this day and age, I am not sure where you can go to find such expertise. They are sometimes accused of being on the expensive side, but I believe you get what you pay for- especially when it comes to Kershaw-Zalewski. Once we tried to "go it alone" on a project and were given a quote for a $50K heating system replacement in our old house. With the help of K-Z, we got the same job done in the same way for $30K, and had no project management responsibilities. On another project- new garage doors- we were completely satisfied with what the sub-contractor had done, but K-Z inspected and saw several flaws and made the sub-contractor re-do the job! So, definitely not too expensive in my mind! Overall, we have had a long and very successful relationship with K-Z and we recommend them without reservation.”
