“BDS construction did an amazing job "bringing to life" a vision we had for our dining room. Customized beams (workers cut and assembled these outside in the middle of winter!), wainscoting and paint were included in our project. The workers were neat and very "perfectionistic" in their painting technique and in the care taken to keep our home clean while working on the project. It is now my favorite room in the house. in addition, we had immediate help in partially finishing our basement ( to separate play area from utilities) after a house fire. Our home has very low ceilings (home is over 100 years) and we thought we could never finish or partially finish the space. With a small space to work with, BDS framed and put up dry wall including three different types of custom doors to provide access to the furnace, laundry facilities and work space. BDS once again worked with our ideas offering many options design and price. Overall, the work was completed in neat and timely manner, communication was excellent, and the collaboration of ideas for our final design was great!”

“Mike Evans is a full-service contractor. He helps his client every step of the way. His attention to detail is invaluable. Knowing that he thought of every tiny aspect from scale, to quality, to longevity, to cost-effectiveness, gave me full confidence throughout my project. There wasn't one day while working with him that I ever questioned Mike or his team's skills, craftmanship, work ethic or fairness. Mike and his team redid my entire house, as I needed full remodels to bathrooms, my entire kitchen, a new roof, gutters, furnace, a/c, electric update, new windows, carpet removal/floor sanding, fixtures, stairway remodel, paint and tile. They also opened up walls and improved the floorplan throughout. We added a bathroom and dormer/closet, expanded the kitchen and added a large vaulted sun room and two story addition on the back, to allow for a new master closet and larger family room and fireplace. The biggest impact from the curb appeal (and my admiring neighbors perspective) was the exterior remodel from a 1980s blue wood-siding colonial to an updated classic stucco and stone french country design. The siding, soffits and exterior decking were rotting on the 1980s home, so rather than just replace, Mike and his brilliant architect, perfectly accommodated and executed my dream of changing/modernizing the exterior design as well. We also redid the exterior hardscape, and landscaping (and added lighting) with Mike's advice and Mike helped with suggestions on the lot grading as well (which has saved us from water damage, we had suffered from in the past). My local village inspector has the utmost respect for Mike's work and always passed his construction changes with flying colors. Mike's subs all obviously respect him, as they are on time and have excellent craftmanship. My project was finished on time and on-budget (while I did add features which is to be expected, they were all completed within the estimated cost and timeframe --- Mike is very experienced and doesn't promise anything he can't keep, truly). And, the best part of all of this is that everything has held up beautifully in the 5+ years, since the project started. Mike is an excellent contractor, fairly priced, and clearly has the talent and experience to build or update ANY space. I am truly lucky to have found him.”
