“We hired Dover Home Remodelers for a basement project 9 years ago. We had a vague idea of what we wanted to do with our basement and Dover's professionals really showed us what we could get out of it. We were able to add another full bathroom, a kitchenette, a new laundry room and plenty of space for our growing family. What we really enjoyed about working with Dover was that they spelled everything out ahead of time, they met their deadlines and budgets, and when they ran into difficulties they worked with us to actually improve upon the original design. It has been 9 years but we still get nothing but complements on our remodel project. We cannot recommend their work enough.”

“Work in progress but so far they have cleaned up after their day's work, on schedule with work. The work has not been completed yet so more to come when it is completed. Update: It's month 7 and while initially work went quickly, things slowed down by month 4. Still some minor fixes left. Have to revise my rosy initial review. Overall poor communication between the design specialist and the project manager.”

“Two months prior to my due date with our second child, a contractor we hired to rearrange our master bedroom walked off the job. We were left with half completed drywall, wires hanging from our ceiling, and a completely destroyed carpet. Seth and SDC came in and not only fixed the sub-par job the previous contractor had done, but exceeded all of our expectations. He is professional, courteous, and absolutely saved the day. Seth and SDC also converted the stairs in our 1942 cape cod from a dangerously steep angle. The end result was perfect. He followed plans to the utmost detail, and we couldn't be more pleased with the end result! We are now considering adding an addition onto our home, and will not be contacting anyone but Seth and SDC. To find someone that is not only incredibly talented at what they do, but is also professional, timely, and kind is worth its wait in gold. We cannot recommend Seth or SDC enough!”

“The entire process from inception, design, demolition, renovation to completion was educational and exciting. The project included renovation of four bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs and an office/computer room downstairs. “I hired Darla for my kitchen design in 2011. It turned out amazing! She is very creative and respects a budget. I was so happy with her services that when it was time to gut our bathroom, Darla was the first person that I called. For that project, and for the remodeling of our family room, Darla acted as designer and contractor. Again, we were very happy with her services. She is professional, reliable and gets the project done on time and on budget. If you are not satisfied with something, she fixes it. She is a delight to work with and I have referred her to many of my friends.”

“Jassen and his entire crew were awesome to work with. They are fast, accurate, clean, reliable, and easy to communicate with. They are very quick to respond to any questions and always making sure I was happy with everything. I used Jennifer Kemp Design Services to help pick out everything from tile, light fixtures, paint, and decor. I would still be picking everything out if it wasn't for Jennifer. I was very indecisive and she was quick to pick up on what would work for me and my space and making it work with the items that I was keeping. I would highly recommend J. Holderby Renovations and will use them for future projects.”

“When you think of having contractors at your house over a span of a few months, the initial gut reaction is to just run. However, John Romans Construction and his crew made for a pleasant as possible experience. From beginning to end, John was helpful in navigating the process - from obtaining necessary city variance approvals, to the final details of the outdoor kitchen, and even a little consulting/advice on items outside of his scope. As with any project, we of course came across various unexpected obstacles. That being said, we truly appreciated John’s level of explanation and communication. He thoroughly explained what was happening and had various solutions, pros/cons, and estimated costs ready to go to avoid any delays. As a customer who has dealt with various contractors - we’ve learned how important and essential that communication can be to ensure the project is completed just the way we want. The craftsmanship is second to none. John and his team expected nothing short of A+ work from themselves down to the smallest of details and we will use them for any additional projects we may venture into in the future. “I have known Martin in a professional capacity since 2001. We initially worked as colleagues at two different mid-size architectural firms over a 2 year period. Martin first came to my attention as a highly skilled Drafting Consultant who was working on some of the more complex projects in the firm. When I moved on to a different company and was asked to recruit new talent, the first person I thought of was Martin. Martin eventually came on board at the new firm and carried a significant project load from day one, allowing his new employer the luxury and financial windfall of billing out a very large and complex luxury multi-family housing project with a modicum of actual manpower. After I founded my own firm, I again recruited Martin when I needed help to complete my own multi-family housing project on a very tight timeline. I gave Martin one of the most challenging technical tasks, that of cutting wall and building sections through this five story building. Martin rose to the challenge and delivered accurate, technically sound work on time and on budget. I knew from past experience that I could count on Martin and he did not let me down. It has been wonderful watching Martin grow his architecture firm into a highly-sought after practice. Martin's attention to detail and craftsmanship shows in all of his projects. His background as a Danish carpenter with many years of architectural practice gives Martin a unique design perspective that other architects simply do not have. I would welcome the opportunity to partner again with Martin in the future.”
