Managing the process, our expectations and the project timeline were key to making our remodel a success. Weidmann worked closely with our requirements while infusing the finished look with their creativity and design elements. One example was the idea to replicate the arches from the window frames throughout the kitchen walls. By removing the molding and arching the corners, the transitions were smooth and seamless. “We would highly recommend Notre Maison for design and renovation. They did an incredible job finishing our 2500 square foot basement from the studs and making sure it was consistent with the rest of our home. In particular we were impressed with budget/time management, design recommendations and quality of Notre Maison. They came in ontime and under budget. This was particularly important to us because we had a family reunion at the finish of the project. They had the appropriate amount of extra time built into the schedule to make sure project challenges that arose were able to be dealt with in a timely manner but still keep the project on schedule. They were very understanding of our strict budget. They stuck to it and didn't try to convince us to buy more expensive product. We loved the design recommendations-- few of our favorites are the trey ceiling over the game room, the tile choices in the kitchen & bath, the lofts in the playroom, the wallcovering in the dining area and the great use of space under the steps for storage. Of course quality is very important too. They chose excellent, name brand appliances. They even upgraded our insulation to the high-end, mold management selection so that our basement would never smell moldy (while staying within budget). All in all, we would highly recommend this very professional, high quality company.”

“Ryan and Bryan are a terrific team! After interviewing and checking the references of several construction companies, my client and I brought Artisan Built on board to expedite a large renovation project at Georgia's Lake Oconee in September of 2015. We are basically re-inventing a 7000 sf house, with complete renovation of the Master Suite, the Kitchen, Family Room and to greater or lesser degrees, pretty much all areas of the home, inside and out. We are converting the aesthetic and feel of the home from a formal, traditional, European ambience to a much more casual, eclectic and relaxed vibe. In addition to the new kitchen, master suite, etc. we have reconfigured the main living areas to create more openness and improve the traffic flow and functionality and maximize the spectacular lake views. The project is ongoing, progressing smoothly and on schedule with an expected completion date of March 31, 2016. Ryan is creative, a terrific problem solver and very knowledgeable and experienced. He is a terrific communicator and very accessible. He actually thinks very much like a designer and combines that approach with his impressive technical understanding and ability, which makes him a delightful project collaborator. He and Bryan have cultivated a top notch network of resources and trade specialists and craftsmen, all of whom have brought the same level of expertise and experience to the project as Artisan Built and all of whom are equally pleasant and professional to deal with. As if all this isn't enough, they are both really nice guys and such a delight to deal with. With the relationships that Ryan and Bryan have developed, they have even been able to assist our client in smoothing the way through some code and jurisdictional complications related to the new pool installation, which is in no way their responsibility. SO above and beyond! SO customer oriented, accommodating and helpful. They present the occasional and unavoidable challenges or glitches with solutions in mind. They take care of business! This project is the largest of my career and I was hired by my longest-term client to oversee the project, well beyond just the interior design and decoration. I am so happy that we chose Artisan Built to handle the construction on the project. For me, they have minimized (practically eliminated) the potential stress of what could have been a daunting project and have made my job much easier and more enjoyable. The client and I are very excited to see the end results. Even though we are still in process, I already know that I look forward to future collaborations with Artisan built. I wish it made logistical sense for them to work more in Metro Atlanta. Based on our collaboration so far, I doubt I would hire or recommend another company. They are real pros.”
