“We sent out a request for quotations to a number of contractors as we were looking for one company to manage the complete refurbishment of our kitchen/dining area which involved a full rip-out, a number of walls removing and then complete rebuild. The design meant moving the front door, completely leveling the floor, hiding the steels in the loft to give one continuous ceiling, full re-wire and lighting scheme, new windows and patio doors, new front door.... and then the installation of floors, full kitchen and island plus a bespoke unit for the dining area. We chose David and his team based on his attention to detail, level of finish we were looking for and his ability to take care of the full scope of work. Bespoke were not the cheapest quotation we received, but we felt comfortable with the costing and the level of finish that was spec'd. The work was completed to a very high standard, the design flexed through-out the process and David and I had many discussion on budgets with-out compromising the design, but these were all handled in a open communication working together to complete the project. The only reason I do not give David 5 stars, is that the team are very busy, and at times you can tell that they are juggling priorities and the time line did slip. But if you are looking for contractor to deliver a 'bespoke' solution, with a high quality finish you won't find on the high street, then I would recommend his services. After the completion date, and the balance of the contract was paid, we had a few snagging issues which is not unusual, which David and the team have now resolved. For example the doors on the pull-out corner units were flexing, more a mechanical design issue from the supplier rather than David's issue, but he had individual stainless steel brackets produced which were fitted and have completely resolved the issue.”
