“Talee Renovations Inc. completed our total kitchen makeover. From start to finish Mike was always there to offer advice, make suggestions, answer a question, make our requested changes, accompany us to select tile, countertop, fixtures etc etc. At Mike’s initial visit he listened to what we wanted and provided a very detailed quote and plan according to our budget. No detail was overlooked, including his suggestion to move our countertop out a bit for easier traffic flow. We never would have thought of that but it has made a huge difference, at no extra cost. We had a corner pantry and we insisted it stay, Mike said ok, but provided us with a video of a before and after reno with a pantry removed and without hesitation we agreed and are so glad we did. We also had a slab of countertop installed for the backsplash and when installed behind the microwave none of the pattern was visible. Not a huge issue but when Mike saw it, he immediately took a picture and sent it to the company and they came back and replaced it at no extra cost. All the contractors Mike used were professional, we had no hesitation having them in our home. A huge thank you goes to Mike’s head project manager Andrew! He is professional and so experienced, Andrew can do anything! It was a pleasure to have Andrew in our home. There was minimal disruption to us and most importantly it was finished within budget and more importantly in the promised timeframe. It was all so successful we trusted Talee Renovations to complete our ensuite bathroom total renovation. Again, Mike provided a detail quote and completion timeframe. There was again, no surprises with pricing or timing, all completed as promised. Highly, highly recommend Talee Renovations Inc. We absolutely love our new kitchen and bathroom! “We retained Empire Custom homes to do a renovation of our kitchen, pantry, powder room, bathroom and shower areas. We were particularly impressed with Empire’s overall design support, material selection, customer focus and project management. Additionally with all the contractors they choose and managed directly. The full project cycle was extremely well managed right from start to finish. The home was protected extremely well to avoid dust migration, then all the demo work was done without damage and dust was very well controlled and minimal. The appliances were also removed and reinstated without any damage. We were extremely pleased with the tiling contractor and also the painter work and final cleaning prior to occupancy . Overall the work was done very efficiently and extremely well managed. The whole job was hassle free as a result of excellent project management. “We were doing a reno and our contractor recommended John to do plans for our basement. He responded promptly and came to our house to look at the project. Before doing anything else, he spent time asking us about how we would use the space and then he suggested some very innovative ideas that we hadn't thought of, to use the space more effectively. He completed the drawings within a week, we were easily able to get the permit and our contractor went ahead with completing the basement as planned with no issues. We have really enjoyed the layout since the renovation. More recently, we have been thinking about renovating our kitchen and adding a second floor and he gave us some great information to think about. John has a real talent for looking at a space and visualizing the possibilities. He also is very courteous and will take the time to work through ideas and issues with you.
