“We are VERY happy with Cutting Edge Builders. My Ada home had issues with the way the roof was constructed by the original builder (not Cutting Edge). It made very loud cracking and popping noises during warmer weather, as the roof expanded and contracted with the heat of the day and cooling of the evenings. I hired a Structural Engineer (not Cutting Edge) to inspect it, tell me what was happening, and tell me how to fix it. In mid September of 2019 we hired Cutting Edge to implement the fixes mentioned by the Structural Engineer. It meant installing new rafters and rafter ties for a large section of the house. When all was said and done the roof was rock solid. But alas the cracking and popping noise persisted. This is where Cutting Edge shined. During their work they noticed another peculiarity with the original rafter structure (not addressed by the Structural Engineer). When they fixed this peculiarity, IT RESOLVED THE NOISE PROBLEM! We are soooo happy to be rid of that unnerving cracking that came from the roof on summer evenings! We also had them remove a fireplace and chimney, put in a few new windows, a new hardwood floor, 3 new doors, a new hand rail on the front steps, and interior painting. The whole project was completed about November 1st of 2019. Everything looks great. Cutting Edge provided an estimated cost up front. They gave us a project plan and schedule showing when work would take place. Tom did a great job keeping us informed of any schedule changes. We are keeping Cutting Edge on our list of preferred builders.”
