The home is now completely transformed and I could not be happier with the service I received. Throughout the project, the project manager stayed in close contact. He was able to make informed recommendations for some changes to align with current trends and make the house marketable. The project included flooring (carpet and refinishing hardwood), painting, minor carpentry/repairs, kitchen cabinet painting, new countertops and light electrical work. The crew was neat and disposed of all the construction debris. The entire project stayed on budget and was completed more quickly than I believed could happen given the original state of things. “We have a relatively small condo (1200 sq. feet or so) and wanted to make more efficient use of its space. Morse guided us through a significant change in the floor plan, providing us with a much-needed third bedroom and powder room, as well as the open-concept living, dining, and kitchen space we had long wanted. They began by carefully listening to what we needed and wanted and then providing us with clear options to meet those needs. They raised questions for us we never would have thought of ourselves, and challenged us to think about how to meet our current needs in ways that might act as building blocks for projects to meet future needs and wants. They communicated with us frequently and clearly, including daily project update summaries by email and weekly on-site project meetings. Any changes needed to the plan, down to the smallest of details, were discussed with us prior to implementation. The Morse staff and those with whom they contracted were each, to a person, professional, dependable, and warm people. Their work is high quality and complete. “Over the last 15 years, Scott has built a major addition on our previous house, plus two full bathroom renovations, and re-inforcement of a poorly-built garage (saving thousands - didn't need to be demolished). In between, whenever we had any issues with the house such as ice dam leaks, AC issues, electrical needs, he was always able to help. When we were ready to put the house on the market, he sent some of his team to prepare the house for selling. We moved to a new house. We have a one-car garage and decided to have storage units and shelves installed. We contacted Scott and one other company - in this case, a well-known building retail store. Scott proposed building large storage units with doors from scratch; fully utilizing the space between the corners and window trim; and allowing for storage of the garbage cans underneath. He also proposed using the length of the garage for shelves and accessories. The retail store proposal offered ready-made cabinetry with fixed dimensions and shelving in 4 + 8 feet lengths. Although their proposal was a few hundred dollars less than Scott, we would be getting a lot less storage, as the retail store had to work within the parameters of their unit dimensions. Also the quality of the finished product would not be as good. We selected Scott. We now have great storage space that I still haven't fully utilized. The installation went very well, the carpenter was neat and cleared all debris. The job came in on budget. As usual, we are fully satisfied with the quality of Scott and his team's work. I can't stress enough how invaluable the relationship has been over the years for us.”
