“We recently worked with ReVision for a comprehensive home renovation that covered our kitchen, pantry, laundry room, and mudroom. They also installed hardwoods throughout our house. The final result is truly stunning, and the transformation from our original 70s-style home to a practical, contemporary, open, and airy space for our family is remarkable. We recommend them for any renovation projects you have in mind. In the initial phase, Anna and Melissa guided us through the design and budgeting process. Their support was invaluable as they helped us with design choices and selections, all while effectively managing our budget throughout the design, selection, and construction stages. We kept within budget and schedule, with only a few additional expenses due to changes we decided to make, yet we remained on track. During the demolition and early construction phases, we worked closely with Jake and his team. Jake's expertise, knowledge, and exceptional communication skills were highly appreciated, and he consistently went above and beyond. Seth and Eddie did a great job leading build-out and managing trades such as cabinetry, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and painting. Looking at our evaluation in terms of (1) budget/timeline, (2) quality, and (3) communication: We rate budget and timeline management as a perfect 5 out of 5 since we successfully adhered to both throughout the project. The quality of work and materials also earns a 5 out of 5. The carpentry work was particularly great. Although we encountered some challenges with the electrical and painting subcontractors—such as lights lacking switches and missed caulking/paint misses after multiple visits—these issues didn't overshadow the overall quality of the project. Our communication experience receives a 3.5 out of 5. After interviewing 10 contractors, we chose ReVision, despite their higher budget, because of their impressive portfolio, design center, experience with their design and planning teams, and plan for communication with us through their mobile app and text for questions and scheduling. While the first half of the project showcased great communication, there was a decline during the latter stages. We found ourselves needing to exercise more oversight in terms of quality control and communication with subcontractors. Our concerns were addressed, leading to improved communication and quality control. However, we believe that for a higher-end renovation company, this intervention shouldn't be necessary. Overall, the renovation ReVision did for us is amazing. Despite some communication challenges in the latter part of the project, we still highly recommend their services and we would use them again on future projects.”
