“We have an upcoming project with J&B Remodeling and although I cannot speak of a finished project yet (I will do a follow up review!), what I can tell you is that my experience so far has been wonderful! After a couple contractors let us down by never coming back with an estimate we were feeling pretty discouraged. Time was ticking and we still had nothing to start with! So I ran into Jayson & Brandi through my own workplace, as they had just moved to our little town and needed service. While exchanging paperwork for services, I noticed the email address was one for a remodeling business…I couldn’t help but to ask about it! Long story short- they came by and gave a very thorough evaluation of our home, our ideas, and everything we wanted to accomplish. They were very helpful and suggestive; they gave us ideas better than our own, with the same output but in a much more cost effective way. We received our estimate within the time-frame they gave us. They even followed up several times before the estimate was finished, just to keep us posted on how it was going! Since then, a couple months have gone by while we try to wrap up the loan to get started. They still check in with us, once a week-every other week to see how it’s going, see if we need anything more for the bank, etc. This is a quality I greatly appreciate and I believe is hard to find! “Eric at FSD is a true craftsman! We began our new construction project in 2012 and very early on had an affinity for concrete sinks, especially the ramp style varieties. We thought living in San Jose, CA would put us close to plenty of shops that would have just what we wanted. This definitely was not the case! We found the FSD website just by googling, "concrete ramp sinks". The website was very nice and had just the styles we were thinking of. After months of driving around Bay Area showrooms and not finding what we wanted, we decided to email FSD. To our surprise we received a reply in less than 24 hours; unheard of in the new construction world of dealing with contractors! To our delight, Eric's quote was a third of price of what's available in the Bay Area, so for the next several months we exchanged emails, phone calls, and numerous designs and revisions with Eric. Being that we live in San Jose, CA and Eric is in Illinois, we still hard a time dealing with the fact that we would be investing so much money for something we had not seen in person. Eric sent us a generous amount of the different color samples, including some with veining. It was great being able to take those samples to the shop where we selecting our tile. Even then we still wanted a few tweaks with one of the colors - Eric quickly obliged! Once we settled on the colors and styles, Eric got to work and would send us updates as the work progressed. We received the first sink, for our powder room, in December of 2013. It was even more amazing in person and we were extremely happy with the Yuma style that we chose. The final sink came shortly after in January. The massive 11-foot double sink, with veining, for our master bath was a work of art. Both sinks arrived without a blemish and in crating and protection that were treated with the utmost care. We believe Eric spent as much time on protecting the shipments then as he did creating them. This was a relief, since we were in no control and dealing with all the other issues that come with a new construction project. Once the sinks were installed, we were filled with even more joy as the look we had dreamed of finally came together. From the smoothness of the concrete, to the ease of cleaning, and beauty of how the water flows - we couldn't be any happier! ... see the pictures for yourself!
