“Tanisha and Denise make an amazing team, we are thrilled with the results! We wanted to furnish our living room with a very unique "vibe". We wanted bold colors, but not brash. We wanted it to have character, but we didn't want it to be gaudy. We wanted character, but not kitschy. After sending Pinterest boards back and forth to each other, Tanisha was able to zero in on the aesthetic that we were looking for. After a few back and forths, I remember she sent us a Pinterest board and she said, "let me guess: you like this set up, but you don't like this piece because it's too loud. But you like the rest of it, right?" It's like she was in our head! Tanisha and Denise made this whole process fun! They challenged us to be creative, but reeled us in when what we wanted probably wouldn't have worked out as nice as we would have thought. They provided the perfect balance =) Their team put together a few 3D renderings, and completely nailed it. Then they started sourcing all the pieces that would become our new living room. It was a complex job, with some pieces coming from as far as Egypt! With a job this big, and the political climate being what it is (tariffs), we expected hiccups along the way. Their team informed us of the delays as they happened, and we felt up to date the whole time. We had different contractors come and help with the project, some for flooring, others for painting and tiles, another for wallpaper. Denise helped us manage the different contractors, invoices, and visited the job site several times to make sure everything was done well and held up to the strictest standards. Me and my wife both work, and Tanisha and Denise were SUPER flexible and patient with our availability. We are so thankful they were able to work within the confines of our busy schedule. We never felt rushed, and they still managed to keep us on track and within our budget. I could not recommend them enough! We will definitely be using them again, once we save up enough money for our next project ;)”

“JoJo was a God send! We hired an architect, and it was taking months for him to even get our vision on paper. Even simple requests were wrong when we’d get back the plans and we were really stuck with him. In a desperate attempt, I literally found JoJo via a Google search for good interior designers in Houston. I had no choice—but what a fortuitous decision that was. JoJo and her team came in and literally redrew the layout of our entire house making redlines of thr architects plan, maximizing space, prioritizing practicality, but also incorporating aesthetic features. Her team’s vision and creative solutions to improve architectural drawings demonstrate a good understanding of client needs, integrate artisanal interior design with architectural planning, and reflect a passion for design. She created a moodboard with all our favorite Pinterest and google images and created a slidedeck by room. My wife said "I can move into that house today" So, you can imagine how in 2 to 3 weeks JoJo and team turned things around. JoJo is also hardworking and messages with ideas, reviews, or catch-ups in the evenings and on weekends, which is conducive for working professionals to discuss “home stuff” without having to take time off work several times for meetings during regular weekdays. We are currently in the process of permitting and rebuilding, and JoJo is a great choice—I highly recommend her. I have come to realize that in home construction or remodeling, it’s not the talent alone but also the time, effort, and passion an interior designer invests in engaging with you on a project.
