I also liked her previous work which is pictured as clean, tasteful and beautiful! Deri helped me walk through choices throughout the building of my new home and was at every appointment to help me pick out tiles, cabinets, doors, backsplash, flooring and carpeting and paint colors. I was so excited as the house started to come together. She was then able to help me select furniture that matched my tastes and fit well into the selections we had made for the house. She was always there when I needed her, never made me feel rushed or inadequate (I admit I can't put two colors together and didn't know what I wanted), and always guided me to decisions that would make a beautiful home. “My wife and I bought a home on a beautiful lake just a short distance from our offices, removed the existing home, and needed an incredible design for this unique property. We decided to retain Darrell and Liz based on some of their previous work, as well as both of them were LEED certified (an organization and green building standard I helped start in the early ‘90’s). They quickly caught our vision and desires, and made many improvements by blending in their own expertise and experience. At each iteration of the design we became more and more excited about our future home and how it seamlessly integrated into the property promising wonderful views and an incredible indoor/outdoor living experience. Sadly our plans changed and we sold the property, but have purchased 10 acres in Washington state with an even more incredible view, and will be incorporating many of the design features into our retirement home. Darrell and Liz are highly recommended if you’re wanting to do something outside the ordinary, and want architects who are easy to work with.”
