“We hired Johnston Remodeling to demolish the kitchen addition to our pre-1870 farmhouse, rebuild the kitchen addition (along with a storage room and a mudroom), install new vinyl siding on the entire home, install replacement windows throughout the entire house, and install a rock façade on a portion of the exterior of the home. Johnston Remodeling did an excellent job on all aspects of the demolition and construction, worked great with us and other subcontractors and suppliers, and above all, they were mindful of the age of the home and helped us maintain an old farmhouse feel despite all the upgrades. They were also great at listening to our concerns and meeting the needs of our lifestyle, so the house now fits us better than ever. They communicated frequently and openly about cost and stayed on budget throughout the entire project. And they were on task the entire time, completing the project before we thought they would. We never felt like we were second to any other project. I highly recommend Johnston Remodeling.”

“I used Ehcor for a basement project . To be clear I used them to Frame, drywall, install glass block windows and paint. I will say Ehcor had the best quote for my particular project and the final product came out great. The project was indeed done in a timely manner. but some things were held up due to my personal contacts doing electrical and/or plumbing work. The best way to keep the project on task is to Email the office manager. She was very responsive when it comes to email and responds the same day if not the same hour. Stay in touch with her as it appears she handles the coordination of the workers. It does appear that they use “specialty contractors” for each phase that is being completed. Again, I used my own Electrical/plumbing contractors. My advice to you if you choose Ehcor is to stay in contact via email with the office manager in between “phases” to keep on task. I was quoted a 4/6 week completion and they indeed finished within their projected time frame. I am indeed very happy with the final outcome and would recommend them. In fact, I had 2 neighbors use them (prior to me) as well with the same positive end result. If you indeed choose to use their services, I hope you have the same positive results I was able to obtain. .”
