“Yaniv managed a major renovation on our home that included expanding the second floor, remodeling the kitchen, permitting the ‘iffy’ spaces, and updating several other areas. It was a complicated project with neighborhood hearings, permits, inspections, and a seemingly endless number of decisions, and he did a great job helping us navigate all of it. We didn't use an architect or a designer, meaning we relied entirely on Yaniv's expertise to brainstorm layout and design ideas. He was a great sounding board, incredibly clear in his communication, and an expert at navigating the complex web of California building codes and city permits. He made it explicitly clear what decisions were required on our end and guided us through what I thought was an overwhelming process. We also appreciated how accommodating he was while we were dealing with construction during the pandemic with a baby. We had to move out temporarily for the demo portion, but Yaniv worked hard to accommodate our schedule so we could move back in sooner rather than later. Any large construction project is going to have its hiccups, but my wife and I are still very happy with the finished product years later. “Where do I start? What started as a glimmer of a dream in my mind a year ago has evolved into the dream home for my son and I thanks to the guidance and craftsmanship by the team at Noor Construction. As the parent of an adult quadriplegic in a power wheelchair there are unique needs and requirements for our home. We found that the homes in the new developments do not understand the importance of truly open floor plans, wider doorways , accessible baths , and enhanced safety for the disabled community. After realizing this, we decided to update our existing home to better match our needs and approached Noor Construction about adding new square footage and renovating other areas. Key Additions: - Added 390 sf in living space and 144 sf of garage storage/workshop. - Sub contracted Alex @ One Source Mobility who provided a Arjo Maxi Sky 2 overhead lift (rated to up to 600lb) for transfers in the new master bath. - Full barrier free roll-in shower with wet and dry area. - Enhanced drain in roll-in shower. - 1/2” tempered glass shower wall. - New Vanity - Master closet and Air Condition Storage (2x Bigger). - Existing secondary bedroom doubled in size to allow better flow for a wheelchair resident with large walk in closet. Added double doors to hallway to provide better access. - Guest bedroom expanded (2x in size w/ added walk-in closet and barn doors) - Both updated bedrooms have added exterior doors to improve fire safety. - Hallway and master bedroom were refreshed with new flooring, paint, lighting and new barn door leading to master bath. - Behind the house the team replaced a failing wood retaining wall and installed a beautiful new steel re enforced concrete retaining wall. - New 4 feet walkways were placed around the new perimeter and driveway was extended to meet the new shop area. In summary, there are zero regrets with choosing Noor Construction for this project. Omar and his team at Noor Construction helped me make this dream a reality within a reasonable time schedule. The pricing for this was fair and also reasonable. The estimates and budgeting numbers that were worked up were virtually spot on…. Actually came in slightly under the number projected. The city of Rocklin also confirmed his work by PASSING EVERY SINGLE MILESTONE OF THE PERMIT PROCESS ON 1ST INSPECTION. Customer response was second to none. Every single question that I had was handled quickly and without judgement (there are no dumb questions) irregardless of the day or time. Rarely do I have complete confidence in a company or person, but Omar and his team has earned it. The attention to detail and the craftsmanship is obvious in the final product. They worked with me with my vision and assisted in recommending the right materials for the job and I just could not be happier.”
