“We met with Charlie Murphy several times to discuss the possibility of using Icon Building Group to build our house. Charlie was concerned that they would not live up to our high expectations. In the end, they not only met our expectations, they exceeded them. Icon assembled a talented team to execute the building of our house. They selected a group of subcontractors that had the necessary talents and attention to detail to be able to execute the detailed design that we entrusted to them. The efforts of the subcontractors were carefully guided by our superintendent, Mike P. In the office, Shawna H. did a great job navigating our project thru the challenging City review process. We had several challenges during the project, and the Icon team dealt with them in a positive manner. We are extremely happy with the end result and look forward to enjoying our new home for many years to come! Bob and Pat”

“We used Chi Renovation & Design for our basement remodel (after a pretty bad flood), and am thrilled with how things came out. After we worked through the design aspects, it was time to get started on the build. When it comes down to it, the most important piece from my experience is working with a general contractor that cares, takes ownership of the project, and is fast to rectify issues that inevitably arise when renovating. I can safely say that Ron, who was the GC that managed our project embodied all of those qualities. I never had to prove to Ron why we may have needed something changed, fixed, or reworked; not only was he often already aware of it, he always took responsibility and got it done. He was always fair. Beyond that ownership, the subcontractors that work with Chi Reno & Design were excellent, especially the drywall and painter folks. Honestly, by far the best paint work that has been done on our house. To that end, the value of the work done was well worth the (reasonable) price. I am thrilled with how it came out, and my kids love playing down there everyday!”

“Heartstone did an excellent job on our addition, kitchen and full bath remodel. From the very 1st meeting we knew we were dealing with professionals. The team is very professional, organized and responsive. They were always available for questions or/and any change requests. We added 170ft to our kitchen and completely redone a full bath. We lived in the house through the entire construction, the crew was very courteous and everything was super clean. I would definitely work with Heartstone again and recommend them to anyone I know. All the contractors that they work with were excellent as well.”
