“Ed was recommended by our Realtor - we're not from the area, and were remodeling our parents' home for resale. It was a long haul for Ed, from Hayward to Walnut Creek, but he never complained. “Tony and his team did an excellent job . They expanded my master bedroom including the bathroom and a walk in closet. I am not the easiest customer. I had so many questions, and Tony was patient with me every step of the way. They were very thorough and competitive. They were constantly updating me and going over the process . The entire experience was great!! Always on time with a great attitude. I want to say that I worked with a few general contractors over the years and it is difficult to find a good one that actually keeps you updated. “No 2nd quote! Yes! I signed my first ADU contract with DH! Either Sam and his team are too good, or I am too blind trusting, and so far, I think it is the former. Sam took me to work sites, and had me meeting designer Shon, on phone with his manager, Idan. The team works very well together. I like that. Sam has the ability to remove all the doubts and questions I have, and he is a creative problem solver I did not mark a 5 star because we just started. Sometimes, Joey don't reply my text right away, I understand that everybody is busy, and I don't immediately reply everything either, and on issues gating the progress, Sam is very responsive. All in all, things look good.”

“Our company has worked with QPS for several years. We have done business with more than 140 other general contractors and other construction companies, both locally and throughout the state of California. Without question, we find QPS to be one of the top three general contractors that we have ever worked with. They are attentive, dependable and a pleasure to work with. They always do what they say they’re going to do but even more than that they under promise and over deliver every single time on every single project. Their prices are more than fair and they never overcharge….. it’s run like a family business is supposed to be operated. There are never excuses. QPS has a significant staff of qualified professionals. They never take on more work than they can handle or work that they are not qualified for. To be honest, we are always looking for projects to do so that we can partner our clients with them. We , ourselves are an interior design and interior architectural firm, who represent quality workmanship as you will see on our website, www.warrensheetsdesign.com. When asked to give recommendation I the president of Warren Sheets Design, jumped at the opportunity to give my two cents about QPS. But since I have been asked, I’m giving more than two. “We hired Clever Design and Remodeling to remodel our kitchen in our condo. We had met with two other contracting companies and we were given a similar quote as Clever but to be honest, meeting with Gilli gave me a totally different level of confidence than meeting with the others. We replaced most of the carpeting in our home with European Oak wood flooring which is beautiful. We also had the kitchen cabinets refinished and a new stainless steel over the range microwave installed as well as coordinating new sink fixtures and all new cabinet hardware. Recessed lighting was installed in the living room, kitchen, and master bath with necessary patching and all ceilings painted. Roy was very knowledgeable of all aspects of the project -plumbing, electrical, carpentry- displaying true craftsmanship in his work. Gilli was great to work with, she is very detail oriented and he and his team always left our house and the common areas in the condo building extremely clean (cleaner than it was originally, honestly). The Clever Design and Remodeling team really went above and beyond in making sure we were comfortable and happy with the work. Strongly recommended!!!!”
