Ok, update from the last review I left:
Everything was repaired for a small fee
I have now had 2 gate companies come out and look at our faulty gates from First Impression. The gates installed had "bullet" hinges. Both companies said they had never been greased upon installation. I was never shown how to oil these because they never did it! How am I to know if they don't show me. So, no grease = seized hinges because they didn't grease them in the first place. I have been oiling all the other parts I saw that should be oiled. The pictures below show that they were not greased. The paint covering the space where they are supposed to be greased. The paint has to be broken, and there is a small silver ball under the paint. When you grease them properly, the paint is punctured, and a silver ball is visible. Last pictures show the hinges that had NEVER been greased, not even upon installation. The paint has not been punctured, which should reveal a small silver ball, where they should have been greased. The first 2 pictures show after the paint has been punctured to reveal the silver ball, where the grease should be placed. They are saying this is my fault because I never read a manual! They want to charge me $990 to repair a gate because it has seized hinges due to them never being greased properly due to poor installation! None of my gates were oiled during installation. Thus, never has been oiled! This is my fault?

I wanted to have a door in the front of the house that I could let fresh air come in. It is an oversized door so I couldn't just run out and buy one to install myself. Friends had gotten one installed by First Impression and were very happy with it. Eric helped me pick the right door for my home and Richard came and installed it. I'm very happy with the door and the installation. Richard had it installed in just under an hour. I'm very happy with my decision on getting this door.

Four years ago I purchased French doors from First Impression and decided to have screen instead of the mesh so that I would be able to see through it a little better. My cat loved to look out the door and I didn't have to worry about her going outside.
This year I decided to get a smart lock but wanted the door to be more secure especially since my interior doors are glass. I ordered the smart lock as well as the mesh from First Impression and was excited to be able to use it with my phone app. Unfortunately, the lock I purchased would not work without purchasing a hub. I was happy with the door but so disappointed that it wouldn't work the way I had hoped.
I contacted Melissa Paulson and she went above and beyond to make this right for me. They even made a new mesh for me as the previous one had been cut to accommodate the smart lock and the new lock I have is much smaller. They removed the smart lock and gave me a full refund for the lock purchase.
I am beyond thrilled with my experience with First Impression. Although I ran into unexpected issues, they worked with me to make everything right. Thank you First Impression for your excellent product and the best customer service. I highly recommend them for you security needs.

We’ve had our beautiful security door from First Impressions for a few years and thought we were keeping it clean and maintained well until we paid First Impressions to come out. We did not know how to fix the weather strip problem. They did their maintenance and some cleaning. Jacob and Tommy came out and performed the whole service, and it looks like a brand new door now! Not only that, but they identified several potential issues and were able to address them before they became major repairs. They replaced the bracket for the closer and the rubber strip on the bottom of the door that was really worn down They also caught the beginning of rust on the mesh that we did not see by the decoration portion of the door. They were so polite and professional, and when they were done, explained everything in terms I could understand. These doors – and First Impressions’ maintenance – are such a great value and a beautiful addition to our home. I would recommend First Impressions to anyone looking for a beautiful and functional door or gate (we actually have both). We are so happy we added this service and plan on doing this every year!

We had a entryway gate installed. When we the gate was installed we realized that the door opening was the wrong direction. When there was an obvious correct way for the door opening. At no time did the salesman talk to me about which way the door should open and since there was an obvious direction I didn’t ask. I called immediately and spoke to customer service and was told I would have to pay again for a $3000 door. I was told I would hear from someone and days later I didn’t. I called again and I spoke to the same person. She again said she would talk to the sales department. I have yet to hear from anyone. While the door is beautiful. It opens in a direction that forces you to have to step off the walkway to get in and anyone in a wheelchair would not be able to enter the house at all.
Since this review the issue has been resolved and they are correcting our door. Thank you First Impressions.

We had two gates installed - one new and one replacing an old one. Install on first day was interrupted by tech family emergency - and I had to call to get back on their schedule versus them call me. Different tech came to finish what first tech started and was surprised that the other gate hadn't been installed (he said the office wasn't aware of that). Original tech came to replace old gate and left a mess (apparently, according to the TINY print on the back of their agreement, you are agreeing to holes and stucco damage when you sign their contract). I now have damage to my retaining wall and 12 additional holes to worry about filling - and the tech forgot to take a very large piece of our old gate (left it right in front of the new gate - almost 6' feet tall, so pretty hard to "miss." Don't waste your money or time on this company - incredibly disappointed and don't know how they get away with doing the "work" they do.

The sales person who quoted us said the gates would be installed in 4 hours. Well, it took several weeks of us calling, and several broken appointments before they finally completed the job. They left a big mess in our yard that they said they would clean up; but they never did. We had to hire a landscaper to restore our yard, so that we could actually use the gates.Their customer service is really poor.

I have to agree with those on here that have concerns about installs. I am going through this now and hoping our monsoons do not do damage to our house prior to our install being completed, we have bare wood exposed to the outside. We ordered our doors in May and partial install on July 5th however still waiting for it to be completed. Note: Do NOT pay in full!!! no matter what the sales person says and or discount you may receive. Not receiving any call backs from customer service or anyone is the most frustrating.
I also agree with those on the craftsmanship of the doors, these are beautiful doors and very unfortunate that the company has very, very, very poor customer service/communication.
If you are a patient person, I would recommend using this company otherwise to avoid yourself a LOT! of frustration look at other companies reviews on how their customer service is first. I am sure other companies quality is equal to First Impressions.

As many people have mentioned, scheduling installation and getting repairs done can be difficult, however, I think they are overcoming their issues with that. Once they did the installation and the repair -- both done by consummate professionals -- all that's left are the absolutely beautiful looking doors. Sturdy with a gorgeous finish, these are "stock" doors but look totally custom. Could not be happier and would recommend this company.

Having the worst time trying to get our custom ordered door installed. We ordered on 3/3/17. I have been given 3 dates of install. The first date they cancelled the day of, stating there was a problem with frame. They rescheduled but still brought the original door without corrections. There were other issues with door as well, the installer had to take it back for repairs. A third appt for install was made. The door was delivered without the frame and the glass was not correct size. The glass had to be reordered. I was given a tentative install date for the fourth attempt at install of 5/3/17 but never heard anything from the company. It has been 62 days since order, and 41 days since original install date. Yet no door nor any contact from company with an ETA. I've never felt like a company may take my money and not deliver until I worked with this company. Beware.

First Impression Security Doors provides a quality product at a fair price with outstanding service. This is the second product we have purchased from them. (French screen doors at the old house, Courtyard gate at the new house). Tracy McSwain at the Peoria location was fantastic. The attention to detail was refreshing. When he came to the house to measure the gate opening he noticed the architectural details on the front of the house. For a very small layout fee, he designed a custom gate that mirrors the windows at the front of the house. It looks perfect. Thank you First Impressions. Next project is a screen door for the door from the MBR to the back patio.

The best way I can describe our reaction to 1st Impression is that all of our expectations were exceeded.
It starts with the design consultant, Paula, who carefully listened to our questions regarding the replacement of three gates. She came to our home and coordinated the colors of the gates with our existing color tones. She measured the existing gate areas and gave us a bid with different alternatives regarding wrought iron design.
The installation team of two young men were very professional and skilled at their art. They were neat and clean and the installation was seamless.
The finished product came out better than we expected. The gates are beautiful, we comment on them every day. Thank you for such a wonderful job!

I will start off by saying that we received 3 quotes, and First Impressions was not the cheapest company out of the three but I am a firm believer in quality and most of the time you pay for what you get. Kurt our salesman was on time for the quote and very professional. From the quote to getting it scheduled and the CAD drawing he was very responsive. If I had to give any criticism it would be that the process seemed a little disjointed at times and required us to follow up to make sure the project was on time and nearing completion for installation. The door turned out far better than we could have ever imagined. We sit and stare at it in awe, it is just that gorgeous. The installation team was on time and very professional. The installation took the entire day (10-6pm) as there was major construction that was needed to install a much larger door. I would not hesitate to do it again, well worth the money for superior quality and installation.

Need some help. Not happy that it will cost $575 to fix my 4 year old door. Was told by the manager today that "our powder coat does not mean rust proof". I just didn't expect UGLY rust so soon on my otherwise beautiful door that is located under an expansive patio cover. I believe the door wasn't prepped right to begin with. Buyer beware.

Installation team was professional, cleaned up their materials at the end of the project, and engaged us to be sure the door was being positioned properly.

I recently had my First Impressions security screen door installed and I love it!!! The installer was on time and very professional. He completed the job in approx. one hour, and there were no issues. All of my neighbors have come by and complemented on how beautiful it is, and the quality of the iron work.

We purchased our door with David who came out to our home on 2/20/16, measured the door opening and frame, and suggested to us that we go with the option that was half the cost of their more expensive doors. Maybe this was the beginning of the downfall. We paid for the door in full upfront.
Door was installed 3/24/16 and upon inspecting the door (after 3 hours of installation), found there was a gash in the 3" metal frame so you could actually see into the frame, several chunks of metal taken out of the frame all over the place, and gaps in the welds that daylight could be seen through. I promptly pointed this out to the installer who called his installation manager to determine what they should do. The installer sent the pictures to his manager. The manager received them and told the installer to relay to me that the manager would be calling me within the next hour, but that the installer needed to go to the next job site.
We allowed 4 hours to go by before we called the office number. I spoke to a gentleman that I explained this whole situation too. He put me on hold for 5 minutes then came back and told me that he had forward my complaint to the quality manager and that he would get back to me shortly. Shortly to me would be in a couple of hours. After not hearing from them by 5:00pm, we immediately called our credit card company and disputed the charge. We explained to our credit card company the condition of the door and the lack of communication from the company after trying to contact them and after being told twice that we would be contacted. We have our card with Bank of America and thankfully have been with them for 14+ years and so disputed charges are handled very quickly and easily with them. We were instructed by them that should a satisfactory resolution be reached to simply call them and they would release funds back to First Impression.
We did not receive any contact from them until after 7:00pm from a woman named Natalie. She left a voicemail on our phone and her voicemail stated she just got our information, that she was looking into, was heading out of town on vacation, but that she would have a resolution for us in the afternoon of 3/25/16 (the following day) and would call us to let me know what they were going to do. We did not hear from Natalie until 7:45pm of 3/25/16 via email, so no phone call and well into the night that we would not even consider it late afternoon.
We emailed Natalie back Saturday morning as we had several questions in regards to her email where she explained they would be taking the whole door off, taking it back to the shop to fix it, and that it should be ready within 5 business days to re-install. In an effort to make sure that upper management was included on this email correspondence, we researched and found the owners of the company. Tim and his wife, along with his son. We cc'd them on the email response we sent copying the format of Natalie's email address. All three cc's bounced back.
Via email, we scheduled an appointment with Natalie to have the door removed as early as possible on Tuesday 3/29/16. The gentleman who arrived was very nice and asked that we point out all the issues so that he could mark them and let the warehouse know what exactly was wrong when he took the security screen door back. Door was gone about an hour and half later and now it was a matter of waiting to see what they were going to do in order to fix all the issues. At about 2:00pm 3/29/16, Natalie calls us and informs us that she is calling me to schedule an appointment to have the security screen door removed. We are so confused as she was the one who scheduled the appointment with us via email to have it removed 3/29/16, however we are also not surprised as their communication has been way beyond sub-par to this point. We tell her that this is exactly what our email to her on Saturday was talking about because she had asked us to work with them and be a part of the solution, which we had no problem with, but we told her that we expect professionalism from them in terms of responding to calls and adhering to the timelines they set for themselves, i.e. returning phone calls like they say they will at the times they say they will.
Natalie proceeded to defend her company, issuing nothing but excuses; basically telling us our door was a one off issue out of the thousands of doors they produce, and in a way threatening us as to whether or not we wanted our door fixed. We told her that we of course wanted the door fixed, but that they also need to understand that this is a lot of money to spend and that to let a door even go out of the warehouse looking like this is beyond belief and that how could the installer have let this even go up? We also told her that we agreed to work together and that her having no idea of what is going on does not lead me to believe she is involved in the process. We even went so far as to point out to her that none of the owners emails work. She proceeded to tell me that she works hand in hand with the owner and that he is aware of our issue. I asked why he had not reached out to us as that is what I would do when I owned my previous two businesses and had customer issues. She said that this is what the owner had employees in place for was to handle these issues, not him. Sounds like an owner eager to make his money, but not so eager to handle the really tough issues of being a business owner.
Needless to say another appointment was scheduled for Tuesday April 5th to re-install the door after fixing it. On Saturday morning (4/02/16) Natalie calls and leaves a voicemail letting us know that she is calling to schedule an appointment to install the door. At this point I had lost it. I could no longer communicate with her due to my complete lack of confidence in this lady and knowing my ability to not be able to speak to her in a professional manner due to what appears to be her memory loss. I had my spouse call her instead, which I think shocked Natalie and scared her because I think she thought it was my attorney. Natalie quickly backtracked on what she said in her voicemail and told my spouse that she was calling to confirm 4/05/16 still worked or see if 4/07/16 would be better, which was a lie, we still have the voicemail saved. Natalie confirmed her calendar said 4/05/16 in the morning with my spouse and that was it.
Door arrived in the early part of the afternoon, so First Impression did not meet the early morning time they had promised and upon reviewing the 3" frame it still showed gouges in the metal. Only this time the frame was now bowed out where the handle/lock set would be installed. We immediately asked to see the door itself before they even took that off the truck. The door still had gaps in the metal where the welds were not complete. Only this time the installer confessed to how First Impressions handles their terrible workmanship. The installer told me "Well the first installer should have fixed that when he was out here the first time the door was installed by filling those gaps with caulking." So let's get this straight, they know that they do sub-par security screen doors, but they hope that people are too dumb to catch it and that they simply fix their issues by putting caulking in the doors to cover it up or them up. Nice job First Impressions, way to leave a lasting Negative Impression.
So we told the installer we are not accepting the frame or the door again and that they can take it back and fix it again. Natalie calls us a little later in the afternoon to offer her apologizes and explain to me that now the owner is involved. Let's back track to my conversation with her from that immediate Saturday when she told me the owner was aware of my issue. However, she is now telling me that the owner is now involved? We called her out on it to which we could tell she seemed flustered. Apparently the Vice President is involved is what she meant. We asked who is the Vice President, she said one of the owner's. We told her that she had told me the owner was already involved this past Saturday and she said he was. It seemed like a dog chasing its own tail. We just gave up. She apologized again, gave all these cliche statements to me about them being in it to win it, they are here to make sure customer service is #1, blah, blah, blah. We just told her to stop, that we don't need to hear what their company is about, that we just want the door fixed.
She wanted to set up an appointment for the following week which I said would not work due to me being out of state for work and my spouse working all week. I was not going to have my spouse take time off work for this, we had already spent so much time waiting at home to have this door installed. We scheduled to have the door installed after I returned home, 4/16/16 in the early morning (I requested we be the first stop). Having thought we resolved the problem, Natalie called back on 4/08/16 to inform us that she had just realized we had disputed the charge with our credit card company and that she needed half the balance paid back in order for them to work on the door. We told her that she needed to take this issue to the owner and that seeing as how we did pay upfront and received and Not So Great First Impression Door and that based upon the thousands of doors they do without issue (according to her), that the owner can be on the hook for this door until it is completed satisfactorily and that maybe it would light a fire under their butts to complete the door as it should have been on 3/24/16. We also said that as soon as we are satisfied with the door, we will promptly call our credit card company and remove the dispute. Natalie said she would need to talk to the owner and call us back. She called back five minutes later and said it wouldn't be an issue, they would work on the door.
So this brings us to 4/15/16. This company has been pretty good about calling the day before installing to confirm the appointment. Prior to leaving the airport to head home at 4:35pm, we had no phone call from them to confirm the installation. Upon landing and checking voicemail, again no phone call to confirm the appointment. 4/16/16 arrives and it is 8:50am and we have had no phone call 30 minutes prior to arriving at our home for a scheduled 9am appointment (first install of the day). We call Natalie and leave a voicemail. We email Natalie and she emails back within about 30 minutes and states that the time was changed to 2-3pm, the installers first appointment of his day and she had no idea it was changed. Here we go again, the Director of Customer Service having no clue about the company's customer service. A 9am-12pm window is not a 2pm-3pm window. Do these people have no respect for people's schedules and that these people are providing the money for them to have a job by buying their company's products?
The installer calls us at 2:30pm and tells us that he is running behind and won't be here until sometime after 3:30pm, but probably closer to 4:30pm. Apparently they think that everyone's time revolves around their company and not the other way around. Adam, the installer calls again at 3:45pm and says he is on his way and will arrive at around 4:00pm. He arrives and my spouse and I ask to look at the frame. Everything appears acceptable. We then ask to see the door before he even pulls it out of his van. I help him pull it completely out of his van and my spouse and I inspect it. No gaps in the welds, no gouges in the metal, however I can see immediately what they did do to fix part of the problem. They welded a bracket on the back side (the side that faces into the house) to hide all the imperfections. So, in reality the really fixed nothing, just covered it up. However, the door does look better and on the inside part of the door will be a screen so you won't see much.
My spouse left, leaving me in charge due to a planned family gathering. So I was forced to miss out on this gathering due to First Impression not meeting their appointment time with us and then showing up even later than expected. However, the wheels start turning. Natalie mentioned earlier that she didn't know they changed out appointment time, the owner is now involved, etc. So now I am thinking that maybe they did this so it is finished being installed in the early evening and we won't be able to see if any imperfections occur with installation. But then I think "would they really do that?" Two and half hours later the door is done.
The installer Adam informs me that I have a balance due in full for the door. I inform him that we do not and that all I needed to do was to call our credit card company and drop the dispute. He informs me that I will need to speak with the owner Tim. I get on the phone with Tim, he asks me if I am happy with the door and I told him that I was except for the screen being rather loose at the top. He tells me that Adam will need to fix it now then. Tim asks if I will write on the form that we will drop the dispute with our credit card company and sign the form accepting the door. I said I had no problem with that and that we had explained to Natalie that we had no problem dropping the dispute once we were satisfied. Tim apologized a couple times and said this just seemed to be one of those doors that had issue compounded upon issue. I ended the call and went back outside to look at the door one last time and sign Adam's paperwork as per Tim's request. Upon looking the door one last time I noticed the paint had bubbled around the lock/key set. I pointed this out to Adam and said I am not accepting this door again. Adam said he would need to call Tim again, however Adam took a picture to send to Tim. Adam acted like he couldn't focus on the bubbled paint which is pretty easy to do since we have 3 5000K Daylight LED lights on the front porch, light is definitely not an issue. This was simply Adam trying to act like he couldn't "see the problem."
I am now back on the phone with Tim and he asks me what is wrong now, that I am refusing the door again. I step inside the house so as not to let the installer hear what I am going to tell Tim. I tell Tim that the installer tightened the lock/key set too tight, it bent the metal and this in turn caused the paint to buckle. Tim tells me the installer said it is not that bad and that it wouldn't be an issue in the future. I can't believe it. So they know they screwed up, but because they feel it's not that bad we should accept this expensive door as is? I explain to Tim that it is bad and that the paint is bubbled up, it is a powder coat which over time will flake off if it is bubbled. Tim explains to me that this is becoming an issue and that this will be four times now that they will have worked on this door. He asks me again if I am taking the door and I told him no, that they needed to take it back. Tim basically sat there on the phone trying to stiff arm me into taking this door. I told Tim that if he is saying he won't fix it then I guess just take the door back, I will keep the disputed charge and that is it. Tim tells me word for word "Ok, I will have the door removed and we will be done. Sorry it didn't work out. Bye."
Arizona residents, poor or rich, this company is not worth giving your hard earned money too. We highly recommend that you steer very clear of this company and look to others. My spouse and I are now left looking for a new company and a new security screen door while our front door has holes all over the frame now. First Impressions is a rip off and does not care about you, they only care about the money you are going to hand them and not question their garbage products. We cannot emphasize this enough, DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT use this company for anything.

Our iron products are manufactured by hand by artisans and will have at times these minor imperfections, which have no impact on the integrity of the door itself. We explained to Mr. H that the welds on his door were well within manufacturing quality standards and IF the paint does chip off within the first two years, his door would be fully covered under our included warranty. He was not willing to accept this explanation and insisted that each minor imperfection be fixed by taking the entire door and frame back to the “shop” for repair. We made the decision that doing this would be an ongoing process to try to please Mr. H and the best thing for both parties would be to give him a full refund and remove our door completely, which we did promptly.
Sometimes a customer may have a perceived standard that is unobtainable in the world of custom ironwork, and in the case that we are not able to meet those standards, we offer to refund their money. We are only able to manufacture within our company’s quality standards and the reasonable quality expected for custom, hand-forged ironwork. First Impressions built and installed a security door for our front entrance. The entire operation was professional, from the sales team, to the scheduling team, to the installation team, and the customer relations team. The door was installed on the date promised. The installer was professional and respectful, and tried repeatedly to adjust the door so that it closed without needing to be forced. Unfortunately, the installer was unable to make that happen at installation. Following installation, I was contacted about the service and I mentioned that our door would not close on its own, but required force to close and latch. I was immediately offered the opportunity to have someone come out and adjust the door. They were confident that my issue could be addressed, and if not, they promised to make adjustments in the price. The adjustment service person came out as scheduled and had the door adjusted in under 15 minutes. I am a happy customer!

I had First Impression Security Door installed in my front door. I love the contemporary look we designed together and get compliments on it all the time. Besides adding to the appearance of my house, I feel safer when someone comes to the door or when we leave the regular door open for a breeze during the day or night. Great, sturdy quality and we were very pleased with the installation job. We plan on getting a double security door for our arcadia door soon. Maybe best of all was the low or no pressure sales team. I guess they know the doors sell themselves!

Our gate needed to be re-powder coated, and since First Impressions re-installed it, the lock no longer works from one side. We called to have them fix it, but they told us to hire a locksmith. Very disappointing for the amount of money we paid for this gate!

A new security screen was the order. I now have one, installed by Isaac of First Impression.Security Doors, and I love it! It operates smoothly, closing automatically as it should. The lock system is secure and also works effortlessly. Everyone that comes to the house comments on what an improvement it makes to our entry. It also compliments our stained glass window beside it.

The very best service from beginning to completion. I was kept informed all during the purchase to build to install process. First Impression was even a week early from the original schedule. That quality of the gate is beyond first class. Nothing approaches their quality in this market.
On top of all that during the installation we lost power and it was getting dark. The install team kept working using flash lights, cell phone lights and a bit of my car lights.
The dedication to customer care is extraordinary and came NATURALLY.
Best vendor/ supplier I have ever used- bar none.

I was truly impressed with First Impressions! From the first point of contact where the representative at tne marketplace in Mesa was in the booth and gave me lots of information on the security doors and finishes, to the sales rep's arrival at my home where his first words are "on sale", my experience was great! I was able to easily change the finish I ordered after the sale, when I visited the showroom and saw a finish I liked better. Then, the installer saw a problem with the door while installing it and refused to put in a marred door (I was so excited about the door that I never saw the problem until he pointed it out); problem solved in a timely fashion and I am thrilled with the upscale, classy look of your product! Definitely recommend this company over the competition!

I was very impressed with the quality of workmanship of First Impression's products when my husband and I visited the Peoria showroom. We were in the market to purchase a security screen door.
Our salesperson made the extra effort to fit us into his schedule that very day. He personally made an in-home visit and helped us make the best choice for our home.
Our door is beautiful and adds height and elegance to our entryway!

I found First Impressions when searching for unique iron security doors. I felt it a bit risky to order from a company out of state but, after comparing many companies, I found they had the best selection and highest consumer ratings. I ordered two security doors and when selecting finishes and screens, they generously supplied me with all samples to select from. We measured doors carefully and they sent CAD drawing for approval (to ensure everything was correct prior to production). It took 6 weeks from order to delivery. Let me say, you don't have to stress about shipping damage because they ship in a carefully constructed wooden crate that a bulldozer wouldn't hurt!! I HIGHLY recommend paying for white glove service when delivering out of State as it took 3 guys to un-crate and bring up to the house. The weight is beefy and very well constructed! Friends marked 'no one is going to get by these doors!'. I couldn't have been more pleased, they're BEAUTIFUL! Moreover, I love that the screens add visual privacy while still enabling you to see out from inside. I HIGHLY recommend this company! Their service from start to finish, even finding a local qualified installer, has been stellar. Happy Homeowner :)

We had First Impressions Security Doors install a new steel double entry door to replace our existing double wood doors beginning on 2/4/15. Our experience was very good. Natalie, the customer service manager, was very helpful in getting the job set up and made sure that it was completed timely and to our satisfaction. She also did a great job by assisting us in getting an upper transom custom window fabricated to match our new entry door. This was a bit of an afterthought. Rich was the installer who did a great job with the install ensuring everything was perfect.

Had them install a security door. The sales man was great he helped us pick out the door color and screen color the wife picked out the design. It took like 4 weeks to get the door ,the installtion was done very professionally and let me tell you it looks great much better then I thought it would be. I was so impressed that I am going to put a double door on my slider in the back of the house. Great product great serice.

Buying a security door and a courtyard gate from First Impressions was a great experience. After setting an appointment at a home show, a young woman (Ashley) came to our home to demonstrate their product and talk to us about installing what we wanted. She was very friendly, never forgot what we told her and was very well informed about their product. We had to go through our HOA architectural review committee before installing and the sales team and project teams were very helpful in getting me the materials I needed for the HOA.
The installer was outstanding. He was polite, answered all of my questions and did a wonderful job. He worked hard much of the day to get everything just right. We now have the most beautiful matching security door and gate in front of our home.

The day had finally come when I went to look for a security door and from ads, I knew I wanted to go to First Impressions. The salesman was very helpful in my selection. The installation went as planned. I love the look of my new door, but I am not the only one. As I was in the school office waiting to deliver lunch for my grandsons, a complete stranger said to me, "I love your new door". Imagine my surprise, not only my family and friends love it, but a stranger that must be a neighbor. I would strongly recommend First Impressions for a beautiful quality door.

First Impressions designed and construction a custom gate for my patio entrance. All parties involved in this process -- sales, design, production, and shipping -- provided first rate service and a first rate product. All interactions via phone and email went smoothly and efficiently, despite the fact that First Impressions is located in Arizona and I am located in California. The designer was more than cooperative with the multiple revisions I made to the design of the gate. In addition, she made suggestions, which I eagerly accepted, as to how to enhance the design. The entire process was a pleasure, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

They installed three iron security doors, including front, double-entry doors. I had narrowed the designs down to 3 from Internet photos. When the representative came out to measure and do the estimate, he went through my three choices and pulled up a variety of others online, pointing out key aspects. He was candid, and in the end I changed my mind, based on his input. I couldn't be happier! I see now that I never would have liked my original design choice as much. I'm so grateful he used his experience to help me decide. The cost was exactly as estimated and what I expected from my research. The installation was an all-day job with 3 doors, and the installer was terrific. He was careful, tidy and focused. There was a minor issue that resulted in a return visit, which went equally well. The doors are solid, beautiful and work perfectly. They have added a lot to the look of our house. I highly recommend them (in fact, I have recommended them to my neighbors)..

We love our iron security door that First Impression Security Doors installed for us. This is the second security door we've bought from First Impressions! It was one of the first things we did when we moved into our new house a few years ago.
It is beautiful, durable, and, of course, secure. The design is gorgeous - we get so many compliments on it. The paint is a great match and has endured over 5 summers of the Phoenix sun and still looks like new!
I love that I can open my front door and let fresh air in and still keep the bugs out (with the screen on the security door). Also, I love that the kids can open the door when the doorbell rings and still have a heavy, locked security door between them and whoever is at the door.
We had one maintenance issue a few years ago with the lock. I called the maintenance department and we had someone out here to take care of it within a day! No fuss, no arguing, nothing. They just scheduled a time to come fix it. I love that!
Overall, I have been extremely happy with First Impression Security Door products, service, and overall professionalism. I would highly recommend them!
