Old North State Iron Doors

Very poor long term quality. They may look good when they go up but see my pics of what they look like after a couple of years or more. Even worse, they knew they had a paint flaking problem due to their process but they refuse to fix it. Harry Johnson (owner) came to our home to inspect the problem. Admitted they had paint flaking problems on other doors as well. Assured us they would fix their known problem and ask us to be patient till this spring to fix the doors. Spring came and Harry decided not to answer our calls. Finally got a hold of his partner and found out Harry had lied to us about fixing the doors. I doubt very seriously if we are the only ones he has lied too because he was very good at it. Shook our hands, smiled, laughed, told some stories, assured us they backed up the quality of their products, in person, right there in our home, kept us waiting for months. It was all a lie! The problem is finding another contractor that is willing to touch their doors and their problem. We have found another company but it is going to cost thousands. We are in the process of suing them and look forward to holding them accountable for their actions.
