Bought a fixer upper last spring and have been slowly working through everything that needs updating. Replacing the interior doors was on my list and United Porte was hands down the easiest part of this whole process. Walked in, found exactly what I needed, staff helped me figure out sizing for my older door frames, and the walnut finish I picked looks incredible against the fresh paint. Every contractor and friend who has come through has asked about the doors specifically. In a house full of projects this one felt effortless.

I had given United Porte 5 stars when I went to purchase the door for there customer service. I received the door though everything was ok. Made the mistake of not opening the box wherevthe handles came. I paid United Porte for installation so I wouldn't loose warranty. Today when the installer open the box of the handles all handles where scratched and one has a small chipped like it was hit. I call and send pictures. Even tho United Porte promotes the products have warranty it's not true. They came back saying we damaged the handles when we didn't even open the box. There installer was the one that open the box. They sent a picture and even on there picture the box is closed. After talking to a couple of people and received no help. I have decided to put this review. After spending over 8k on a door I would think they would be responsive. I will be filing a small claim law sue because people can't promote services that they don't provide like warranty. I wasn't asking for a refund on the door. Just wanted the handles replaced. We where also missing a screw and the installer told us to go purchase at Home Depot. The doors are nice but when your spending a high amount of money you expect to get something with no damages and warranty to replace. There is alot of places with beautiful doors United Porte is not the only place. I would definitely not shop here again.

The Planum 0010 Black Matte Barn Door from United Porte made it very easy to renovate my home. Exactly the modern, simple design I searched for is what this door offers. Dealing with Anna, and this company has been a nightmare and caused so much delay on one of my new construction builds. It takes days for her to respond. I put the deposit down 3 weeks ago and a week after I put the deposit down they told me my order was on back order and out of stock for 3 more weeks and would get my order 10-15 once they get the doors in stock. I don’t recommend anyone to use this company and go with anyone else

Installation did not go well so now we have to endure the disappointment that it should have been much better. Door itself is very nice and well built but company skimps on delivery and installation. I def recommend you get your own installer. Main complaints: We have a visible gap at the bottom of the door frame on one side; Frame looked crooked (installer agreed) as built but trim hides it; Gap between door and frame is unequal so when closing it now scrapes towards the top (of course it didn't actually scrape before installer left). Door prob installed too high so automatic draught excluder along the bottom does not completely cover the gap -- and anyway hangs at an angle.

Worst customer service ever! They messed up on two of the doors that I ordered for customers. One arrived damaged with the bottom corners broken and the white paint peeling up. It also had a deep cut down the whole door. I called customer service and they said to send pictures. I did that immediately and didn't hear anything for eight days. I called them to see what was going on. They said they would give me $200 credit so I could fix the door myself. I told them I wasn't going to fix a door that someone just paid over a $1000 for. Then they said they would send a new one. He said it wouldn't be shipped out for another week so I wouldn't be getting a replacement door for another two weeks. I said that was ridiculous customer service and the guy could have cared less. I asked him why I didn't get a response to my email in eight days, and he argued with me I did. I told him I have the email as proof that you didn't. He had no response. We had already ordered another door from this company and when that arrived the header was missing. I called customer service again and they said to send pictures. I did and they responded back to piece together the wrong pieces that they sent. Again, I had to tell them I'm not doing that to a customer who spent over $1000 for a door. Also, it would be too short. When they respond back to your emails, they are so unprofessional. They don't use capitals or punctuation. They also don't even sign off with who is writing the email or the company name. Never again will I order from here.

I was truly disappointed with the quality of the products. The pre-hung doors were unacceptable and I did not install them in my new home build. The jambs were cheap particle board and not solid wood, the mitered edge trim boards were misaligned and had gaps, and the door seals were not properly attached and also were unevenly glued. I paid more than $8000 for seven doors so expected quality products. When I shared my concern and disappointment the unprofessional response from the representative (Anna) was that I could not return the products or receive a refund because they were prehung. It's astounding to me that a company would not honor a refund if the quality was not up-to-par and hide behind a bureacractic policy. Buyer beware of this unethical company with subpar quality. You are better served buying locally from a brick and mortar vendor who is trustworthy. It was a difficult pill to swallow throwing away this sum of money, but the quality was so bad that I could not install in my home.

Ordered initial door in August, delivered in rain and no notification. Left outside with torn packing and obvious damage. Door picked up for return, refunded and re-ordered. United Porte thinking a duplicate order canceled it. I find this out when no door arrives. I then have to call and get another refund and re-order door for a third time. now after mid October delivery scheduled. No door, no contact.

We ordered 5 black ash Planum doors, which are a custom item. The doors and hardware are extremely high quality and well made as well as stylish, and we couldn't ask for anything better. Because they are a custom item, it does take a while to receive, and we had an issue with a first shipment of doors that arrived having mortises in wrong location. Andrew was extremely helpful and responsive in dealing with the issue, and ultimately we got a replacement that works perfectly. We couldn't be happier with both the quality and customer service experience. If ordering, realize it may take a while to ship from overseas factory, but ultimately United Porte pulls through with a product you won't be disappointed with.

We were looking for modern barn doors for our bathrooms. I love United Porte style, they have great while silk finish. Customer service was impressive, I was able to get answers to all my questions. Delivery was fast. We used professionals for installation, we are nor very handy. Doors are very important, we were able to update our house style with there doors.

We ordered 3 of the sarto prio NS 7213 interior chocolate ash doors. Our doors were not in stock so it took about 15 weeks to receive them but they were well worth the wait and they look amazing!! We ordered the door, frame, casing, handle, and hinges. The doors were not prehung. My husband installed them himself and although the directions were in a different language he was able to figure it out but said they'd be pretty confusing for someone who was not handy in doors. Unfortunately they did mess up and sent us one wrong lock which took another couple weeks to receive and a couple orders for them to finally send us right piece, so you must have patience to order through united Porte. Our favorite part about our new doors are the hidden hinges and the magnetic locks! They work amazing and feel super quality!
