BuildPro Concrete Inc. of St. Louis

BuildPro STL (BPC) installed a driveway and sidewalk at my residence on September 4, 2020 for $5,887.95. The contract stated, "BPC will obtain and pay for all required building permits". On November 12, 2020, I received a notice of violation from St. Louis City stating that no permit was submitted or issued for the new driveway and sidewalk. I notified BPC owner (Derrick) as well as employees(Julie, Mike) of the violation the week of November 16. I followed up five times in Nov and Dec 2020 to resolve things. When I stated I would report them, the owner said he would handle things. On Monday, January 25, 2021, the St. Louis City inspector informed me “a permit for work completed has not been submitted for or issued.”. In over two months, BPC has neither submitted or obtained a permit as obligated. To add to this, the original proposal was not followed on the day of concrete laying. I had to do a concession for the work as they neglected to lay rebar as previously agreed in the proposal

My curb appeal has changed drastically and love the way it looks from the street but close up we have a few issues. After a couple hiccups Derek was able to get the project underway. There was an issue with one of the forms being too long so when it was pulled up it messed up my driveway, my beautiful new driveway. I contacted Derek immediately and was told it would clear up but it didn’t. I have contacted Craig a couple times but never received response from Derek to fix the issue. My driveway was completed in April 2019.
