We chose Eminent Construction to revamp our backyard patio. Mark, Santiago, Omar and the entire team were outstanding. They were all very communicative in managing our expectations. Mark quoted 3 days from start to finish and they performed on time and on budget. No surprises. I would highly recommend Eminent Construction.

From the worst to the Best Driveway on our block, and far beyond. We waited way too long to finally make the decision to re do our driveway. After looking at many options it was Pavers for sure. After searching for a good Paver Contractor we were very lucky to find Mark at Eminent Construction. With his help with design direction and his open freedom for us to be very creative we ended with a 4 paver size and 4 color blend to end up with a driveway that many that pass by call it a work of art. We could not be more satisfied with the whole process. We have seen other paver projects end up after time losing their integrity and after 2 years, even with my heavy truck, ours looks the same as the day they finished.

I can't even put into words what a good job they did, 2 days and they completely transformed my house into something beautiful. The neighbors even came over to say how impressed they were with the work that was done, one neighbor has been in construction 25 years and never seen any group work so fast and beautifully.

We hired Eminent Construction to help with our backyard. Mark and his team were fantastic. Mark offered ideas and gave us an estimate. His team got right to work and the results were a new transformation. They poured a new patio slab, installed sprinklers/timers and new sod. We love the new look and are proud to walk outside now. Coming out of a whole house interior renovation, that had dominated my life for the better part of 18 months I was nervous tackling my large outdoor refurb front and back with a new contractor. But I was determined to finish it all! I had designed the layout myself and the whole project included large amounts of in place poured concrete walkways, a driveway, a poured concrete wall, a cable line fence, redwood fencing, custom gates, custom planters from brick and stucco and the center piece a redwood deck for a seating group and a fire place with poles to affix shade sails. Miron came to my house several times to discuss the project He came up with ideas to accommodate my budget, and even before a contract was signed or work promised brought along his expert wood and metal foreman to discuss my exact vision. We went through several iterations of the scope of work until I was comfortable with the work proposed. In comparison Eminent’s quote was very much middle of the road with other offers, but none of the other bidders put as much patience, detail and attention to my project in the preparation face. With everyone else it was “say yes already so that I can get you to sign”. Miron gave me all the time I needed to be comfortable to trust him. When work began Eminent came through on every single thing and then some! Workers were on time, polite and hard working. Miron checked in almost every day with me and on occasion more than once if the situation required it. Even though small details changed throughout the building phase no word of any surcharges for such changes. I was not nickled and dimed and that was reassuring and refreshing! Everyone was most focused on finalizing my vision! The project finished in the give time frame of 25-30 work days with some days to spare in the end. The crews were always willing to put in extra hours to move the project along. Every sub contractor was top notch, the most stand out job was however the wood and metal work. Pascal is a true artist and every time I look at my fence for which I know he spend endless hours to pick every single piece of wood and stained it without a drip, I know I have chosen the right contractor. I have neighbors from all ends of my area stop by and ask for Eminent’s contact details as they have found my property’s curb appeal so stunning. There is no greater compliment to Eminent and their hard work- Thank you so much!

We had pavers installed on our driveway and front entrance by eminent construction just last week. Cannot say enough about mark and his crew. Mark was very professional and not at all pushy nor did he use an "over-the-top" salesman approach. Scheduling the job and completing it was a very quick process with minimal disturbance. Everything went well and we are thoroughly enjoying our latest home improvement. Highly recommend mark.

After arduous searching and reference checking, I made the decision to hire Eminent Construction to install my new patio and steps with interlocking pavers. They certainly lived up to their excellent reputation. I couldn't be more thrilled with the results! The 1,900 sq. foot project took one week to complete, 2 days ahead of schedule. The crew was punctual, efficient and the workmanship was impeccable. As an added bonus, Mark, managed the project making every step of the construction process flow seamlessly. I have no reservations recommending Eminent Construction to anyone looking for an excellent value for the money.

We were looking to replace our old driveway with new pavers and hired Eminent Construction for the job. When Mark (the owner) came out to give us our free estimate he demonstrated great knowledge in all aspects of hardscape construction and gave us plenty of creative design ideas for our new driveway. He patiently walked us through the expected process of the renovation and his price was fair. The renovation took about a week to be completed. Mark was there every day from start to finish and made sure that the renovation is proceeding smoothly and without any delays. His presence throughout the entire project and his availability (even after working hours) to answer our questions and address our concerns made us feel at ease. The Eminent crew was very polite and respectful of our property and left our driveway and front yard clean at the end of the renovation. The driveway was done on time, as was promised by Mark at the beginning of the job, and looks great. We receive compliments all the time from our neighbors and friends and we couldn?t be more satisfied. We highly recommend Eminent Construction as they are very reliable and provided excellent quality work at a very competitive price.

I had 4 companies come out and give my quotes for the same job, and I just really liked Mark the best, and it turned out his quote was among the more affordable. I found Mark to be VERY knowledgable with the laying and types and styles of pavers, and he had great ideas and seemed to communicate well. So we went with him, and I can't begin to explain how well it went. Demo was set to begin on May 9th, and their guys were here and ready to go at 7am on the dot (maybe a little earlier even, but they waited to do the loud stuff until an appropriate time). Demo on our entire huge project was almost 90% done on day one, and Mark had a fleet of guys - like 12, to make sure everything got done quickly. The guy working the bobcat for demo and jackhammering was like a surgeon, he was clearly very skilled. By day 3 they had everything leveled and started to lay the pavers, and by noon the job was 50% done. Neighbors would walk by and say "Oh my god I can't believe how fast this is going!" And the quality was in no way diminished by the speed. His guys are not subcontractors, his guys are his employees and laying pavers is what they do, and they are absolutely fascinating to watch, they are so good at it. A couple of times we wanted to make a change (in the size of the steps, or how wide a pathway was going to be) and Mark always had the attitude of "of course we will do that, NO problem." Other contractors I've worked with (and I've worked with a lot) seem to have this "awww jeez, a change? You're killing me" attitude but Mark was so agreeable and definitely his whole demeanor suggested the customer would always get what makes the customer happy. Also Mark was super easy to get in touch with, always answers his phone, texts and emails back right away. That was huge for me. Also he showed up on the job site every single day, sometimes twice a day, to check on the progress and the quality, and always made sure to find me to ask what I was thinking and if I was happy so far. Like I said, I have worked with many contractors as I have bought and sold several houses, and I've NEVER had an experience this good. If you're reading this review, please know from the bottom of my heart I don't think I've ever recommended anyone more highly. And frankly, based on my experiences and seeing the way Mark and his team works, I don't see how anyone could ever have anything other than the ABSOLUTE BEST EXPERIENCE using them. Plus I have people stopping me every single day when I walk to my car telling me my pavers look better than they've ever seen! Here’s what they did: Removed approx 12,000 sq feet of asphalt driveway, leveled out entire backyard (with 3 trucks of dirt removal), removed old patio covering, removed front porch overhang, removed brick walkway and front entrance stairs. Laid down all new concrete pavers over entire driveway area, back porch, created a curved walkway from backyard to detached garage, laid an additional back patio in pavers, created new wider front walkway, created new wider and gorgeous stairs leading from all entry points in front and back yard (4 total), and demo'd trees from front yard and created new front walkway and porch area.

I hired Mark to do a complete backyard remodel inlcuding demolition of the old concrete slab, removal of all planter walls, building a new retaining wall on our slope, and pushing the yard back in to the hillside to gain additional square footage around the pool. He also replaced the pool coping, drainage and built all new planter walls. Mark was super friendly and my wife and I immediately felt comfortable with his expertise. He showed up on time for the estimate and was very consultative (no pressure). I got three bids from other companies and while Mark's wasn't the lowest, it was competitive, and my wife and I both felt that with a project of this size, we'd rather spend the money with someone we felt good about rather than just making the decision on price alone. I'm glad we did. We stayed within budget and there were very minimal unforseen extras (the draininge under the old slab had to be replaced, but thats to be expected on a 50 year old slab. The project finished on schedule and looks amazing. Mark and his foreman Phil were both really easy to work with, friendly and attentive during the whole process. I'd definitely recommend them to friends and would hire them again if I had another project.
