“My sister and I hired Georgia Bizios to design one home for the two of us at the coast. The covenants would not allow us to build a duplex, so we needed a home with common areas but that also provided us with private spaces and some separation. Working with Georgia on our home was such a positive experience, both the process and the final result. Georgia asked us to fill out a questionnaire so she could learn who we are, how we live our lives, and what we needed and wanted in a house. Her questions made us think about things we never would have considered or known to ask ourselves. She encouraged us to take our time and not rush this part of the process, and she was right. Her process really helped us figure out what we wanted. When Georgia presented her initial designs to us it was obvious that she had thoroughly studied our responses. She "nailed" it so well initially, that although she was open to changes, we had very few. Georgia captured the feel of the house that we were looking for. As we requested, she brought the outside in, and beautifully framed the gorgeous views our lot provided. Our home functions very well for us and how we live our lives. She had great suggestions and ideas. Another thing we like about her is she likes to use stock materials in creative ways. Our home is stunning. We get compliments on it all the time. Best of all, we love it, and love spending time there. It fits who we are. I highly recommend Georgia and her firm. They are top notch. She is a wonderful designer, with a great personality, and easy to work with. If you hire her and her firm, you will be pleased with your results.”

“Our remodel project was not just a job, it was an opportunity for positive change in our life and Ethan helped bring that to fruition.
The project included a full kitchen upgrade; removing a bar/counter and cabinets to open up the kitchen to the dining room. Installed new cabinets, marble countertop, lighting, flooring, and all new appliances. It turned out amazing!
We also had two bathrooms remodeled, new flooring installed throughout the main living area, new paint through the entire home including new baseboards, and recessed LED ceiling lights installed. We are extremely pleased with our results.
Throughout this process we continued to live in the house and happy to say the worksite was cleaned up each day and the disruption was minimal for the most part.

“Robert acted as general contractor on a major renovation of a home in Hope Valley -- it was actually more complex than new construction. The qualify of the work is exceptional, despite numerous issues that were discovered in process, such as problems with the stability of the earth under the foundation. Robert always brought in qualified engineers and I am certain that my house will be rock solid now that all of the foundation and drainage issues have been addressed so expertly. I found Robert and his crew to be extremely helpful, courteous and easy to work with. I have complete faith in Robert and his workers. The only issue I had was that the contract was made before the complete specs were received from the architect and there were a number of allowances that were too low to cover the job. If you want to avoid such surprises, it is important to insist that each item be estimated based on completed specifications from your designer or architect -- I didn't want to delay beginning construction in order to allow for that, so I have just rolled with the punches as the actual bills came in. I recommend Robert very highly.”
