“Working with Erica and Showcase Kitchen when remodeling my kitchen was a great experience. She was on mark with every detail. The family owned business was friendly and personable on each and every visit. It has been nearly three years since my kitchen has been done and it still is my favorite room in the house. I loved what they did so much, that this year I hired them for my bathroom and my closet. “I hired Robert to replicate an interior door with a couple requested changes, and it turned out great! My house was built in 1928 with very nice multiple level molding single panel doors. I have two cats and wanted to relocate the litter box to the basement, and so I needed to install a pet door, but I knew I would butcher the door if I did it myself. I also wanted the door to be longer as we are taking out the thick carpet and refinishing the hardwood floors, and the bottom gap from the current door would be too large. I called several places for quotes on the project, 4 responded. Two were insanely expensive, at $2k and $4k for the project. Robert's price at $530 was right inline with the 4th quote, but he was more responsive and I liked his website showcasing past work. Robert was easy to work with and quickly understood what I was looking for. He was flexible with evening pickup and delivery times, allowing me to not miss work. When he delivered the door, he quickly made the modifications needed to have the new door fit fit in the old, non-square frame. I'd highly recommend him and have attached some pictures for comparison (old door is painted).”

“iI just completed a job with John Dean Custom Cabinetry. The quality, design and customer service was supurb. The work was done promptly and price was very competitive and worth every penny. There were no compromises, a couple gliches occurred but were promptly remedied so the result was exactly what I wanted. Two years ago I did a kitchen with another company at a second home and glitches were solved with compromised solutions. It was a company supplying stock (high end-Chrystal) cabinets. I discovered this is a big advantage of working with custom cabinets. I was very happy with my choice of JD I would recommend them highly to anyone. Edward Molyneaux”

“I first brought Boxco into the project to help me figure out how I could get more counter space and keep the same small footprint of the kitchen It was a joy working with Gallagher who listened and came up with elegant solutions for my space.Once I could see the possibility of more counter space. it was clear I needed to redo the 40+ year old kitchen which Boxco guided me through from start to finish. Gallagher is efficient, knowledgeable, clear, not afraid to offer suggestions and a pleasure to work with. It was the same with Dave who spent more or less a week installing the cabinets and creating the spaces for the appliances. He is a fine craftsman, works patiently, systematically and very considerate. I love my new kitchen! the cabinets are beautiful - finely crafted and so easy to use. The finish on the cabinets and color are pleasing.”

“Great, great, great!! Michael Marion of Custom Wood Design is a true artisan. Michael's custom cabinets are truly custom from the boxes to the doors, to every last molding. Michael has mastered styles from traditional to modern and can stain and glaze a cabinet or book-match the most beautiful wood veneers. All you need to do is share your vision, a plan, or a photo with Michael,and he will create your vision. In my own home, he has created a beautiful fireplace wall, two desks, an entertainment center, bookcases flanking a window seat with drawers below, a very detailed, painted, stained and glazed transitional kitchen, a modern bath with bamboo cabinets, and a beautiful set of closet doors with antique mirrored glass inlay. Michael is a true perfectionist and is a pleasure to work with. I would recommend Michael without hesitation and look forward to doing yet another project with him!”

“Hands down the best tradesmen we dealt with on our Kitchen addition. Chip and Justin design and construct the most beautiful and reasonably priced cabinets in Connecticut. These guys should be the model of for others dealing with and providing the 'homeowner" with what they expect and pay for. Don't believe me, have them do your cabinets and report back if your not thrilled with the final product, we were!!! Best, JK (CT)”

“Just delighted to work with another client at Vartanian yesterday. This is a family-run business and you really feel the difference. The welcome is warm and the showroom is a comfortable place to spread out and get work done. Staff are all helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely a client-focussed, can-do attitude here. Being a color specialist, I am happy to learn that Vartanian does custom colors using the Benjamin Moore palette....thousands of color to choose from!
