Experience got off to a rocky start but am happy to say the company reached out to me and got the situation resolved. I look forward to working with Gen 3 again in the future.

These guys are the best. Detailed quotes and scoping and also very flexible the day of work if you want to add or remove anything. They arrive on time and office communicates very well.

I hired Gen3 to do a whole house rewire because of all of the positive reviews I read about them online. I am not sorry I did...here's one more positive review. The team that was dispatched to perform the rewire, Kevin, Deb, and Dan, were extremely professional, thorough, prompt, and courteous! They did an incredible job in some tough conditions in my older home. The job was finished on time and on budget without any surprises. Prior to the project, I had envisioned one issue after another. That never happened! They made it easy for us! After completion all holes were neatly patched and the premises were clean. I would HIGHLY recommend Gen3!!!

Gen 3 Electric assessed our electric system for our home inspection, and then later repaired the ID'd damage. We experienced no problems scheduling them, nor were there any concerns with the work they did. Their staff were professional, quick, quiet and did great work. I highly recommend them.

The technician installed an overhead light fixture which demanded some design decisions and some careful working around a ceiling treatment in an older building. He was careful, communicated clearly about what the issues were, and did a beautiful job. I could not have asked for a better outcome.

Generation 3 Electric Inc. came to our apartment for several projects. They were on time and if not, I was notified that they would be late. They were very professional and told me exactly what they would be doing and how they would do it. Projects ranged from just replacing old wall receptacles, to rewiring a wall unit with newer LED lights and consolidating the wires needed for cable TV. The last two projects were done by Gordon who was very competent. I recommended this company to a neighbor and she was very pleased also.

Generation 3 is a great company. They are prompt with not only returning calls but also on coming on time. The workmenship is excellent. All my questions and concerns were addressed. There was no hard sale and the tech worked with me to find the solution for my issue, that would be best for me. They are sent me emails with the name of the tech that was coming, which is a plus in this day and age. I first received a consultation and free estimate. Unfortunately, what was proposed ended up not being possible, through no fault of anyone. However, their honesty was what made me continue with the job. I was looking for an electrician and I found one that I will continue to use. I highly recommend them. I can't speak to their price being out of line, since it's been years since I've used an electrician. What I can say is the services I received was well worth it.

I love their customer communication. I always knew when and where and even the name of the electrician that was coming. I also had confidence in the electrician who came, and came back when needed. Gen3 is very easy to work with - and I have worked with a lot of contractors.

I was happy with all the work Generation 3 did and I didn’t have any complaints. I like the guy they sent over, he was really friendly. I have worked with them a few times and have always had the same experience.

Gen3 was super professional, prompt and available over the phone. They were willing to talk through all the options and not just jump to one strong suggestion without hearing my priorities first. They did a great job at redoing my incoming electrical service and panels service. They also cleaned up well and didn't make a mess.

Working with Generation 3 Electric was probably one of the best contractor/serviceman/handyman experiences I've had yet. I filled out web form with 3 preferred date and am/pm options. They contacted me a few hours later with choice of my preferences and 2 hour windows. On the day of the appointment, I received a phone call 15 minutes into my 2-hour window informing me he was heading over and would be there in 15 minutes. He arrived right when he said he would. I showed the problem, he talked me through causes, solutions, and things to be aware of. I showed him some ancillary stuff, he took his time talking me through those things. He wrote up an estimate and I looked it over while he got his tools. After signing (and an electronic copy getting forwarded to my email), he got to work and was done in a reasonable time frame. We talked about some further possible items and he took his time talking me through the pros and cons of them. He even showed me some stuff that I didn't even bring to his attention (my doorbell chime wasn't set up right and had been using a plug-in wireless. He showed me how to fix it out of his own accord, just noticing it on his own). My intention with hiring an electrician was mostly for peace of mind. While I could have watched some youtube videos and struggled through it myself, I wanted an expert set of eyes to look at the whole picture and give me signs that the wiring done before I bought the house was actually all right. He did exactly that and showed me signs that the wiring was good, and that it was just this issue that needed fixing. That sense of ease from having a professional look at it was worth every penny. All in all, my experience with Generation 3 Electric was that they were clean, courteous, honest, and prompt. I highly recommend them.
