Lisa Pugmire took away this overwhelming stress. She was knowledgeable in all these areas. If she did not know the answer she would immediately find the correct source to our question. Lisa Pugmire was genuinly kind, patient with our numerous questions, understanding of our needs, always happy with a smile and full of energy. I always felt welcomed and important. I was never rushed. She helped us work with our budget and to keep things on track. Lisa kept in contact with us often during our remodel and would returned our calls promptly. She also made herself available when we needed to meet with her. When it came time for installs Lisa knew that I was nervous about the transition. I asked for her to be present during the job and she was. This was a tremendous relief. It was nice to have someone on site who was knowledgeable about our project. She made sure all went smoothly. She even caught a few situations before things were done incorrectly. I can only imagine if she were not there what a pain it would have been to fix. “This was a remodel of a 25 year old house. It included a new roof, siding on three sides of the exterior and painting of the exterior. The interior consisted of a completely new kitchen, and two bathrooms and painting of interior. New flooring was replaced in over half of the house. Nancy, my wife and I worked together with Michael Garcia to put together a plan that brought together our ideas to a really great finished project. Michael was not afraid to tackle difficult concepts and he provided many ideas that improved on our original concepts. As with any remodel problems occur and when they did Michael as the general contractor stepped in and solved the situation. I was pleased with his sub-contractors and the way they respected my house and property. His wife, a professional decorator was brought in to help my wife and I select the different tiles and countertops. She helped with selecting the style and with price saving ideas.”

“We worked with HDR Remodeling twice in our Oakland condo: once in 2007 to convert a hall closet into a laundry closet. Most recently in May-June 2012 to remodel and repaint the whole condo after a major mold remediation. In 2007 we purchased a washer & dryer and needed a closet fixed up to accommodate them. We interviewed a few contractors, but were most impressed with Philip's experience and went with him. His pricing was not the lowest of the contractors we met, but not overly high either. And as with our most recent project, we feel we got quality work for our price. Each professional who came in for their piece of the job (plumber, carpenter, electrician, etc.) was courteous and all of them worked quickly and efficiently to complete the job on time. They could have used sturdier shelving, but it's held up okay these past 5 years. This spring we needed to remodel the condo in preparation for sale. After our move out of the condo last year, we had mold remediation throughout the condo so all our bamboo flooring was taken out, a foot or more of drywall was removed from many interior walls and our bedroom windows were stripped down to the studs. HDR replaced all the drywall, covered the window frames, painted the entire condo, put down new carpeting and replaced a broken sliding door screen. Since we were out of state, Philip did his initial walk-through while on the phone with me then sent photos regularly so we were completely updated each step of the way. The work was done in a timely and efficient manner with HDR sourcing all the materials and workers. Overall I recommend HDR for their excellent customer service, friendly and competent workers and long-time experience. Their prices are a bit high, but not unreasonable for the quality work we've seen.”

Everlast was not the cheapest and not very expensive compare others. We choose Everlast Construction because they had great reference from they previous clients. “Creation 7 build the master addition on our house. It is generally understood that having major remodeling done on your house, can be a frustrating process. It's noisy, messy, and usually, goes over budget. I can honestly say that almost none of these were true for our experience with Creation 7. The men were so respectful of our space. They cleaned up at the end of the day - no mess was ever left. The construction generally stayed within budget. These guys were a pleasure to be around also. They were funny and nice, but also respectful of our need for privacy. Also our completed addition! It's so gorgeous! Everything is in perfect working order. Their eye for detail and overall craftsmanship is amazing. I really can't say enough how great our en suite master bedroom is.
