“I called Winmar due to a flood in our basement causing damage to the carpet and the drywall. I dealt with Nathan Woodall who came and assessed the job. He was quick with a very thorough quote and worked well with the insurance company. He was always keeping me informed and very accommodating when there were extenuating circumstances on my part which delayed the project. Once I completed improvements to the basement so that it would not flood again, Winmar and their tradespeople came exactly when they said they would to complete the job. I was very pleased with the workmanship and communication. They were also quite amenable to any changes I wished, some of which included more work. Their prices for this additional work was reasonable and I was always informed of what anything extra would cost. I would highly recommend them for taking care of all the details, cleaning up afterwards and being quick and thorough.”

“On a coincidental meeting, Richard from HIP offered a follow up inspection after having treated the attic for the previous owners. He noticed some moisture in my attic which he attributed to the attic hatch not being secured. Richard explained in great detail the possible reasons for the moisture, what can be done about it, and specific issues with my roof ventilation. He suggested insulating and securing the hatch first, before doing anything else. His team were polite, friendly and professional. They explained everything that they were doing. On a follow up appointment a couple of weeks later they determined that this simple fix had resolved the moisture issue. They did a spot mold treatment to take care of the few spots that had started to grow. I am so grateful to Richard and HIP for saving me a potentially very costly problem down the road. Thank you!”
