Michael Jones remodeled my kitchen. This included vaulting the ceiling, building new cabinets, new molding, new counter tops, skylights and lighting. I love my new kitchen. The remodel went very smoothly and I feel we were charged a fair price. I would hire Michael Jones again.

We would definitely use Bare Root Contracting again and again and again! Our landscape project turned out so beautifully. Doug is very easy to work with, does what he says he’s going to do, has great ideas and he and his crew are hard workers. Up until the time we moved from NWA, we continued to call Bare Root Contracting for additional projects we needed done. Come to TN Doug!

Looking for a general contractor? As you can tell by my reviews, I typically will spend the time to logon and write a review based on a extremely great or really poor experience. I just don't have the time to post on mid level reviews, and I apologize for that. So please read this one if you are in need of construction! This company has completely exceeded my expectations of remodel and room addition. I was referred to them by a past neighbor in which my home needed lots of work and upgrading. So here's my straight forward review. Upon my initial appointment, I was greeted by Mark and his designer. They were on time and performed a full and explanatory overview of my needs. All in laymen terms and none of that typical contractor talk. Proper information was asked and provided and a full walk-thru of my home was performed. ALL items of repairs were discussed and recommendations made. Honest ones too! From what I could observe, they keep proper notes of existing and future design notes. I took note that they were neatly and professionally dressed. No swinging hammer and dirty shoes. Seems to me that they have lots of high end knowledge and ideas as well. I was provided with an estimate that seemed very reasonable along with a time frame for completion. Our home needed a full remodel and small addition for extra space for our growing family. When I arrived at my office, I had received an introduction email along with a full follow up evaluation of our initial meeting. I know this may sound minimal to you, but I have had several homes in the past that I hired contractors for and each one never seemed to be as well educated as Mark and his staff. Upon agreeing to the work, it was completed 4 days early than the given time frame and upon completion I was provided with full knowledge and a complete walk around of what was completed including future recommendations. It was 15 days from the date of completion that I was again contacted and greeted by Mark regarding the condition of their work. They set an appointment to review and check for any issues that may have come up. Upon my follow up appointment, Mark noticed that one of my cabinet doors had a small discoloration in which he made an appointment to have his professional schedule to take cafe of it. Understand that this was not something I personally ever noticed, but to them it was a big deal. This was scheduled and completed 4 days after that meeting. Best of all, the work was done in a clean manner with no dust or damage to any other parts of my home. As a consumer like you, I truly recommend Mark and his team as they were knowledgeable, expressed concern and have the signs of integrity, honesty, cleanliness and the quality of work performed exceeded my expectations. I plan to use them for a new patio installation before this coming summer. I am 100% impressed with their service and would recommend anyone requiring construction services to contact them and see for yourself the outstanding commitment to service they place forward. If you find your experience to be similar, please post a comment as service providers such as this one deserve high recommendations. Thank you Mark and Staff. Great job. I appreciate your honesty and workmanship A+ all the way. Kevin~

I met Terry out of the blue one day when I was out visiting architects I l wanted to work with, and as soon as I saw his work, I loved it, and knew we were a good professional match. The homes he designs are well thought out, elegant, and stately, and the end product is truly beautiful. You can count on creativity and lots of interest that makes sense in his homes in both the interior and exterior details. He’s had many years experience, is smart, and it’s just enjoyable to work with him.

For all my home repair needs, and those of my clients, I turn to Darrell at CMI Construction. Recently we had a need to have our historic rock retaining wall rebuilt. The job site was always kept clean. The project was finished in a timely manner. And the craftsmanship was second to none! No matter how large or small the project, I want to work with the friendly faces of CMI Construction
Tim McMahon Building Company

Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsFebruary 15, 2014
Tim McMahon - was always very honest, knowledgeable, available, professional, & conducted his business with a high degree of integrity. Building a custom or spec. home will always have errors & the important thing to know is how does your builder respond to those errors. Our experience with Tim was very positive & the few "minor" errors that occurred were promptly corrected & he really stands by his work. We would definitely use him again & have no reservations recommending him to anyone wanting to build a custom home.

I was impressed with Handyman Matters owner, Steve Langton from our first meeting. He brought a craftsman with him who attended to surveying the work space while he listened very attentively to what we wanted done. The repairs were for a vacation home and so were done without us being there. Steve sent us pictures of the work as it was completed, and kept us informed in all matters. When we returned several weeks later, we found everything was done to our high standards. I would not hesitate to call an Steve again, or to recommend him to others.

Work was prompt and very good on clean up and follow up. Probably most honest/integrity contractor I have work with in past 30 years. I say this against a background of working with contractors/builders on both large and small projects and from the perspective of having build homes myself. What I really appreciated is that he responded to e-mail and texts same day and on weekends!! Over all good guy.

My family found itself in a unique situation last year. My father had passed away at the beginning of the year and my mom was looking at the two handful's of rental properties they had in Bentonville, Arkansas, trying to sort out their condition and which, if any, needed to be remodeled and sold. She decided that all needed some sort attention after years of neglect due to health issues in the family and that 2-3 were going to be sold. The first was a property in Bella Vista. All the members of the family were hours, if not days, away and onsite management was going to be impossible. I'm a long time residential contractor and carpenter and know that finding trustworthy characters in my industry can be difficult, least of all one that we could trust from that distance. We were fortunate and blessed to find Jason and his team for that first job. I have long held that craftsmanship is the right quality for the right price using up the right amount of time. To that end I can most definitely say that Jason is a true craftsman. At every turn in that first home, he not only addressed our list of issues, but he also brought his eyes to the job site. He looked with those eyes of experience and questioned what he saw, almost like he was a Brooks, and communicated things that we didn't see or even know about. As many may know, pricing corruption can happen in a process like this but it was not the case with Jason. He gave his honest opinion and then offered sound, efficient, and price sensitive solutions to each problem and even put in extra effort to find alternatives to save costs. Additionally, when one solution proved to be a mis-interpretation of the house structure, he was quick to adjust for the sake of the bigger picture, showing a unique bit of humility on the job site. We have since partnered on two more structures in our inventory. Two of the three have sold at or above market value and I believe that is in large part due to his advocacy on our behalf. He knows houses. He and his crew have seen a great many scenarios and bring that history to bear for problem solving in the residence. You will not find too many contractors out there with this kind of knowledge and with his integrity. I can not recommend him more highly than that. He has made this transition of ours so much easier than it could have been. Keith Brooks kBrooks Design Studio www.kbrooksds.com
