Fayetteville, AR Sustainable Design Professionals
Andrea Cornwell, ASID, ASRID created iSpace, LLC in 2002 to harmonize the professions of architecture & interior design by dramatically transforming spaces in form and appearance. Andrea finds her passion for design in exploring new ways of solving challenges put forth by clients and advocating for customizing the client’s quality of life. Many times clients’ are overwhelmed and do not have the time to make the many thoughtful decisions involved in the design process. Whether they are redesigning their existing space or designing their new home from the ground up there are a lot of small details to be considered. It is Andrea’s expertise from both the architectural and interior design side that leave her clients’ feeling confident in their decisions. Andrea practices design with the belief that interior design is not just about the products, but how they are experienced. It is about how the things in place make clients feel in a life well-lived. This is how we design spaces- as an experience. Andrea is respected for her creative interiors that merge the principles of design with the particular needs of her clients. When working with Andrea one can expect to experience a system that is dependent on respect and reassurance from the time of the initial client meeting, all the way through the big reveal, and everything that matters to the client in between. Her number one priority is to understand her clients’ personal tastes, needs, and lifestyles from the very beginning so she can successfully keep the big picture in mind. If you think you could benefit from these services, we would love the opportunity to see how we can work with you to create your dream home!

Known for thoughtful and disciplined solutions, my goal is to practice holistic design creating buildings and spaces that inspire, are responsive to the natural and built context, meet functional needs, and reduce energy demand. As owner and principal, I began work in architecture in 1980 and have been in an architect’s office, on the construction site, or in school studying or teaching design and construction since that time. My philosophy of practice is based upon the following principles: ‣ An “IDEA” insures design integrity ‣ Each of us possess unique attributes that should be perceived in the solution ‣ The site is a primary source of design direction ‣ The client’s program, budget and time must be respected ‣ The flow and connectedness of spatial experience adds richness ‣ Green strategies are integral to successful design solutions My work illustrates the conviction that good design and sustainable design are really one and the same. Enduring sustainable solutions grow out of the importance of place, livability, quality, conservation, and abundance. I have expertise in the design of sustainable modern homes within an affordable budget with experience on multiple custom LEED for Homes projects. Let's talk about your project. Matt
