I have seen their work through a personal friend. They work fast are personable and professional. I will be using their service soon.

I was in the market for a new fence so I requested 3 quotes. One was too cheap to be believable and one was astronomical. I went with Elyria Fence and was extremely satisfied. It was raining the day they put the fence up, but they still showed up to do the job, and did it extremely well. I would absolutely recommend Elyria Fence to anyone looking to put a fence up.

I had a cedar fence put in by them, and it was the best home improvement ever. While I had to wait longer than expected to have it installed, it was still worth every penny. Most everyone I dealt with was very professional and courteous.

I had Elyria Fence Co Inc come out to my house and give me an estimate to put up a fence in my backyard. I was recommended by a friend that they were a reputable company and local. The estimate looked good, so we went with them. They said that they were 10 weeks out, I said that was fine. I gave them a down payment of $2000 of the $3600 total, that was Sept. 21, 2013 and signed a contract. November 30, 2013 would be 10 weeks out. I did not hear from them or no letter was mailed. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited to call them until December 9, 2013. They said they would be out that week or the next. They scheduled a day and then cancelled because the installer was hung up on another job. They re-scheduled for the following day, when it warmed up and the ground was thawed and heavy rain all day. My back yard was really wet and I didn't want them tearing up my lawn which is understandable right? I told them to give me a call back to re-schedule when the ground was frozen. It is now January 10, 2014 and I still haven't heard from them! What the heck kind of company is this? Almost 1-1/2 months over the estimated scheduled date!!!! I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone!!!

Quality of work is amazing and the fence looks wonderful. Poor communication from the office is the only downfall of this company, with our need to reach out to them at every step instead of them keeping us informed as the project moved forward.

Office is a mess. Scheduling is a mess. What they say to you changes day to day. Paid for the fencing in Mid April was told 4-5 weeks out to be completed. Office said once they come to mark for poles, they would be installed the following week. 3 weeks ago ground was marked. They called on a Sat to have me call and schedule for them to come out on Monday to install the poles. When i called on Monday they wanted to schedule the following week and when would i pay the bill. Informed her the fencing was paid for already. and if they did not put poles up today would cancel and find someone else. They came out and poles on back end of lot are ALL wrong . Called today and more runaround. Now im beng told they have to make the gate for the driveway. what have they been doing all this time. Will NEVER use them again

Although we did not end up using Elyria Fence because of our limited budget - I was extremely impressed with their level of professionalism! They do not skimp on their quote-time and really take an extra effort to find out what you have in mind - they don't rush you like other companies I have delt with. I would recommend them highly to anyone that is putting up a fence that will be a focal point of their landscaping... they only use the best Cedar Wood and although this equates to a higher price the look would be amazing. I am hoping to use them in the future when the finances allow. Good work guys!
