Mid Atlantic Deck & Fence Company

I was excited to work with Mid-Atlantic Deck & Fence based on the positive reviews I had seen. Unfortunately, it seems they did not want to work with me. The entire experience from beginning to end was less than professional. 1. I called for an estimate and was told I would receive a call back shortly. I never received a call back and had to call again. 2. The gentleman who came to my home to give me an estimate was late for his appointment. 3. He also forgot my name and had to ask at the end of the visit. 4. I was told I would receive an estimate quickly - my appointment was on a Wednesday and I was told I would have one by Friday - it has now been two weeks and I have received no contact from the company. I will be calling other companies for estimates, mostly because Mid-Atlantic gave me no choice! I am glad to see others' pleasant experiences, because mine was anything but.

I purchased a 6 foot privacy fence around my backyard from Mid Atlantic Deck and Fence in early January 2017. The people at Mid Atlantic Deck and Fence made every aspect of the process terrific. For the initial quote and discussion, a representative met me at my house and we had a thorough discussion of different options we could pursue. With the level of detail and discussion, I felt very comfortable moving forward. For due diligence, I did get quotes from other companies in the area and the Mid Atlantic Deck and Fence quote was competitive. The three workers putting up the fence were great. The lead worker spent the first 15 minutes going over the property and reviewing everything I wanted. They worked constantly - I never saw them take a break in the ~8 hours required to complete the project and they had a great attitude considering it was 20F and the ground was frozen the day they put up the fence. Payment was easy with three installments and I appreciated being able to use a credit card (to collect some more airline miles). The fence looks great. It looks high quality and I have nothing but positives to report on their work. I would definitely recommend Mid Atlantic Deck and Fence!
